Went here as a 14 yr old for PTSD and depression and came out with much worse trauma. It's been 14 years since then and I Googled it hoping it was shut down by now. Guess not.

Staff and Patients was very welcoming and helped me come out a better man with my mental health issues. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to heal their mental health.

I left this place worse off then when I went in. The staff was cruel and quite frankly should not be working with children who are so vulnerable. My first morning I was told they needed to take my blood, I let the staff know I needed to lay down while they were doing it or I would pass out. They called me a liar and wouldn't let me. When they were done they said "I told you so." a few seconds before I got faint. They gave me orange juice which I ended up throwing up all over myself, they sent me back to bed with a towel and wouldn't let me shower or change cause it would disturb the others. They made me lay in bed with vomit all over my clothes. I was there about a week or more before I saw my assigned therapist, my psychologist would take phone calls during my time with her and refused to change my meds when I told her they were causing me to have aggressive involuntary movements. I was separated from everyone and scolded for said involuntary movements on multiple occasions and told I was copying another patient there with a tic disorder. There was very clear favoritism as well. I was on eating disorder watch and after every meal staff would make comments on how much I ate such as, "Wow, you ate a lot more today.", "You went back for seconds? Must have been hungry." and other things of that nature. This may not seem like a big deal but please parents and children, read these reviews and do your research, this is just my experience but if I can help anyone avoid going through the same things I did I would like to try. These things may not seem all that bad but as a traumatized, mentally ill, vulnerable child who just needed help, it was the worst possible situation I could have been put in.

It is a really nice facility and the staff, management and counselors really care a lot about their patients that are there and acquire to everybody's needs individually. Everybody is there for different lengths of time but the average stay is about 21-30 days. It definitely won't harm you in any way it can only make things better for you. If you are able to and/or your insurance will cover it I would highly suggest doing their PHP and IOP program after you complete you're impatient there, it has helped me to be a better mother, daughter's, sister and friend. Best of luck to you and prayers are with you for a successful and happy life. 🙌😃
No. I went in being told itd be a few weeks, they made me stay and wouldnt let me leave since i was self pay. My condition was bad at the time i can say, but i kept being told i could leave in a few days then theyd go back on in, i felt like i was in fancy jail. Claiming they hadn't "cured" my condition and after over a month in their facility that didn't help me as much as the time i spent in there. They treated my illness like a drug addiction which wasnt the case so i left empty from them. The staff is very good, though and maybe they can help you :) stay strong.
Yes they do. They have phones you can use though
No this place doesnt take people with no insurance
Do not send your child here! I went when I was a 14 year old girl and they were extremely abusive. They neglect to treat any physical illnesses that you have while there and a medical doctor is only on campus for a few hours a week. they also stole many of my personal belongings and staff is very rude and manipulative especially a woman named Willow who works at the adolescent campus.
No they don’t they just abuse you and then refuse to give you access to your own medical records after the fact so that you can’t sue them for malpractice
do not send your child here if it is from fun or experiences. unless your daughter has serious issues, keep her away
no
Yes php
No detox. But yes you can smoke. Great facility
They may take Medicare, call and ask.
nope
You will really want to stay the month to get the whole benefit.
Can you tell me how much a month’s stay cost there ?
the average time is 6-8 weeks for all patients. i actually have all 4 things you listed (borderline is mine) and i only stayed about 4 weeks due to insurance issues. your stay really depends on your needs
if you have no dietary restrictions, it is good. if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, or have any allergies however, it is pretty limited.
Actually no they can not. I had a friend visit me and my therapist then told me that no friends are allowed to visit in the facility. You have to be at a certain point in your treatment and even then they do not like people visiting. You only get 4 hours maximum with your visitors each weekend
Yes they took insurance when i wrnt there but at that time i was 23 and under my parents insurance but im sure there's a way for you call them and find out
Family visitation every Saturday and Sunday between certain hours. Excellent facility
