This was my first time dining at Luke's I loved the ambiance and the service was outstanding. I did feel that the food was okay for the price. The menu selections were unique. I swapped my side for a soup and was charged $4 for the smallest serving of soup. The summer squash soup was tasty, I would order as an appetizer next time. I would go back, just wasn't blown away this time.

Came for magical dining and the Wahoo (fish) with rice grits, collard greens in tomato stew were surprisingly great. Collards greens are not my favorite but what I learned tonight is that the way the greens are traditionally prepared is what I don't care for. Luke's Kitchen prepared the greens lightly cooked still having some texture to the leaf, I loved it this way. The FL rice grits were different almost like a pureed mashed potato texture, it was creamy not thick like the name grits would make you think. This was my first time eating the fish Wahoo, it is a meaty white fish but without a fishy smell. The fire roasted tomato stew gave a great contrast to the fish that I didn't expect to work so well together. My appetizer was a kale salad with feta, pecans and plumcot (a mix between a plum and an apricot) it was delicious and the leaves were fresh. The carrot cake left much to desire in the desert category. The publix carrot cake is much better, but the maxhamilk cream and the ginger cream helped the make up for the just so so cake. The crumble on top gave great texture to help add a different element in your mouth. The restaurant's asthetics were appealing to the eye. The restroom was decently clean. Our waiter was great, he gave honest opinions of the dishes we asked about, and he was spot on about the Wahoo dish. The wait time was great for a Saturday night and our waiter did not seem stretched thin. They have a large outdoor seating area as well as the bar. Overall dinner taste great and the ambiance was welcoming, a little noisy but expected for the design of the restaurant.

After being seated, totally ignored for a long time. After server appeared, another long wait. Was not furnished with anything except water in what looked like a used flower vase. Floor filthy. Opposite of what we had read. Worse service or no service. Major disappointment.

It was very crowded and noisy. Kale salad was very good, but the rest of the food was nothing special.

Would not suggest putting in a change of reservation request here. This is not the platform to communicate that to them.
Mask are required and shields between seating booths
