Gave them a try for the first time, after our meeting they ignored my calls and emails. After a while they reached back, apologise, another meeting, started well, signed an agreement, and poooof - Again no answer, email, phones etc. I met a lot of service providers in connection to our business, never have i met such high level of poor costumer relationship. Save yourself time, and look for other options in orlando.

Chris Taber at the Boutty Law Firm got me through an incredibly difficult legal situation, and he did it with kindness. He is not the stereotypical stuffy lawyer, but someone who truly cares about you and your case. I couldn't have gotten through it without him. Not only did we win, but he was able to recoup attorneys fees from the other party. I highly recommend him and the Boutty Law Firm!

Mr. Chris Tabor went above and beyond to help my family and I get our estate documents in order and with the recent passing of a family member he has been further helping me in the processes of changing over assets. I would highly recommend Mr. Tabor and The Boutty Law Firm.

At The Boutty Law Firm, we provide mediation services as Mediator for the Florida Circuit Court. Mediation is a legal course of action that is initiated to resolve civil disputes without the formality of court. It is an alternative dispute strategy designed to minimize the delays and costs of problem-solving through traditional courts of law. In order to resolve their issues, both parties must be in agreement with the terms. The role of the mediator is to facilitate communication between those in dispute and to objectively explore possible solutions. Hearings can be held with both parties together and separately. The mediator will set ground rules to help the process progress, such as each party having the opportunity to explain their perspective without interruption. The mediator will look for common goals and possible solutions. Once the disputants are in agreement, it is written in a legal document and signed by both parties. Mediation is often a preferred option as it allows bo

We want to change our will to appoint a guardian for our children. How do we do that?

As your life changes, so may your estate plan. You may want to update your will throughout your life. We draft valid codicils that address changes in your financial situation, marital status, number of children, philanthropic interests, and general lifestyle decisions. If you have minor children, your will allows you to make decisions about their future care. This is especially crucial if you are a single parent or if both parents die in a common incident. If you do not name a guardian, the court will appoint a guardian for your children and can make decisions adverse to your ultimate parenting goals. You can also make arrangements for your pets’ care in your will, including naming a guardian to take responsibility for your pets. Contact The Boutty Law Firm at (407) 537-0543 to learn more.

I want to get a living will, but I don’t know how to start the process. Help!

A will is essential at every stage of your life. Your living will sets the parameters for medical intervention should you become incapacitated. This assures that when you are most vulnerable, your wishes will be honored. Your last will provides the opportunity to distribute your property, establish care for your children and otherwise express your wishes upon your death. A will is necessary if you intend to leave property to a person or entity other than a blood relative, such as a domestic partner, a friend or a charity. If you die without a will, the court determines how your property is distributed, who cares for your children and even what happens to your pet — making decisions that might not reflect your desires. The Boutty Law Firm, P.A. can draft valid wills that ensure your intentions are honored. Contact us at (407) 537-0543 to learn more.

A construction lien was put on my house. What can I do?

The Boutty Law Firm, P.A. | Sep 10, 2021

A construction lien is put on your property if a contractor or subcontractor does not get paid for the work they’ve done on your property. If a construction lien was placed on your house by a contractor or subcontractor, there are several steps you can take, including: Pay off the debt. This is the easiest and most straightforward way to remove the lien from your property. Dispute the lien. Obtain a lien bond. File a lawsuit against the contractor. While there are many options out there, the best step you can take is to discuss your case with a qualified construction attorney who can give you individualized advice about your situation. The Boutty Law Firm, P.A. specializes in construction law and can work with you to take the most appropriate actions for your case. Contact us at (407) 537-0543 to learn more.
