I just had my 3rd baby here a week ago. This was my second time delivering at Winnie Palmer. My entire experience was beautiful. From triage to the postpartum floor everyone treated me amazing and with great care. I always felt comfortable and informed. They made my birthing experience one I will always remember. Thank you to all of the wonderful staff.

Recently Spent a week there on the antepartum floor and had the WORST experience. I see the high risk residence team and continue to receive poor care from every “doctor” I see. Rooms are filthy. Housekeeping is supposed to come in daily to sleep, mop, spray down bathroom and take out trash and out of those 5 days I was there only came in twice and only took out the trash out. The same filth that was on the floor when i came in was still there until my 5th day when they got tired of hearing me say something about it. Doctors and students are RUDE wish i could post the voice memo on how one of the residents had the nerve to talk to me like. Nurses all had horrible bed side manners. You can tell all this hospital cares about is the money. I posted a Facebook post on local Orlando mom groups to get some real feedback and the feedback was absolutely SCARY and real experiences from local moms who say they rather “give birth in their car” then return back to this place. Wish I could post all of those reviews.

My partner went in for an induced delivery on 12/25 with a successful delivery on 12/26. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left 2 days later, we have nothing but great things to say about Winnie Palmer Hospital. Everyone in the staff, from the front desk, to the doctors, were amazing. The nurses were so attentive to my partner and ensured she was always comfortable. My partner was a high-risk pregnancy, so she gave birth 3 weeks early. However, the doctor was able to get this first-time mother induced and delivering in no time. The delivery became a bit tricky, but all the doctors and nurses sprung into action and ensured our little boy came out healthy. Mom needed some stitches, which the doctor did promptly and with great care. The care after birth was also great. The food provided was really good (by hospital standards), the cafeteria had lots of options outside of that, and nurses were on top of every need the baby and mom had. All in all I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone.

Where to even start ?! First, Doctor Vega thank you for making my labor literally painless to the point the baby was out in 20 minutes and we were laughing and joking between pushes ! Nurse Nadine, you are amazing as well. My labor was so personal just Nadine and Dr.Vega with my fiancé and I. The epidural they gave me was so strong I didn’t feel a thing! From the moment I got admitted due to low amniotic fluid , to the very first nurse in triage who hugged me and said I would be okay, to the PA telling me I saved my baby’s life by knowing to come in after not feeling her move much one evening at 37 weeks and 5 days…. Every single interaction down to the people who come in and change your trash felt so personal and genuine. Many meals we didn’t pay for at all, not even my fiancé. Free mental health consult, free lactation consultant (Rachel is amazing ) who came back twice and literally taught me how to do everything, even pump. amazing food, comfy beds, suites with your own bathrooms , 24/7 attentive care from all staff. Not a single bad interaction with anyone. Mala on mama and baby floor was absolutely amazing and sweet, she was the most memorable one to me, she is a very warm and caring nurse. Jenny as well! Jenny helped me change my pads out and really felt like having my own mother there with me. Everyone said congratulations and made me feel at home. We even had to stay a fourth night due to baby having jaundice and they fought to make sure we didn’t have to switch rooms. Walk in warm showers, free aftercare supplies for mama and baby. It makes me want to have another baby just to come back ! Thank you Winnie Palmer and staff for making the scariest most exciting time of our life feel like home. I will never forget these very first moments in this place. Our night nurse Karen also helped us a lot and recommend giving baby binky while she was under photo therapy and now my baby latches better during feeding. I am so sad to leave tomorrow. I’m genuinely so grateful for this experience. Love this hospital.

Wonderful place
Deborah, how was it? Could you buy insurance or what did you do?
Ask the hospital. Call or email
They can arrange that for you if you want it. Normally the people with you (while given birth) are doctors, nurses and your spouse. Congratulations you are in good hands the treatment there is the best. Blessings
You can get the birth certificate in other place close to Winnie Palmer on Central street ...
Yes
Yes
Hola supiste algo sobre eso
That is correct. Additionally, you cannot be transferred to L&D until you are 4cm dilated, so the first part of your labor takes place elsewhere.
Hospitals do not issue SS cards. Contact social security administration.
I think just the husband
I think your best bet would be to call and speak to someone about it
Visiting hours are 9:00 am - 9:00 pm.
Yes you can have one person with you at all times unless you have an emergency c section.
Yes is the best hospital for kid's. Arnold palmer
Yes they will try to charge you at the end of the visit but if its an emergency I believe you don't need to pay immediately by law
2 people plus the father , I just did my hospital tour & they made it very clear
No
Try medicaid
You have to apply for a birth certificate from the health department or online. You should receive the social security card within 8 weeks, if you do not receive the SSN then contact the hospital and talk to the birth record department
No
No they do not
I would have to say no. Other people (including your newborn) in the delivery room may have allergic reactions to the oils or odors that are emitted.

Yes
If you say that you don't have ... may be they give you a can of formula ... depend of the pediatrician ...
I don't think so ... The parents have to sign a paper about the delivery and how many people can be present ...
I know you can go in at least 5 guests at a time, if you have a bigger crowd they'll probably split up the group. And yes, children are allowed as long as accompanied by an adult
They attend emergencies of pregnant mamitas, besides vaginal deliveries and cesarías
I didn't see smoke areas
10 pm ... But if you are the father you always have the door open
It has a reputation for being a world class facility. It has the largest NICU under one roof in the us so if something goes wrong this is the place to be. Babies get transferred here from other facilities because of its abilities to care for all levels of risk.
They have some pre-packaged kosher options and some vegetarian options in the buffet.
