This is my second procedure here and once again, OPA has delivered exceptional care and outstanding customer service. From the initial visit Dr. Fox and her team were amazing and it was incredibly comforting knowing that I was in good hands. The post surgery physical therapy with Eva Lyons was just as awesome and as a result, I am back to normal at only 2 months after the surgery. I can't say enough good things about these folks.

I don't know where to begin let's begin I went into OPA and I couldn't even lift a pencil the Physical therapist, They were very kind and professional and caring and didn't really want to hurt me I mean seriously they Did not hurt me. They taught me some techniques Using Band resistant Straps My therapist Chelsea Performed a miracle on me, today I am nearly pain free with mobility Chelsea was the very best that I could have asked for. However throughout my visits I did witness the entire staff At work And they all appear to be very knowledgeable and very professional. Love this place.

OPA delivers consistently compassionate care starting with the clerks who schedule appointments and right on up to every medical provider I’ve seen in my couple of years as a surgery patient. Aliza’s a perfect example: Thoughtful listener who doesn’t rush. I left feeling confident that she understood my injury and had a solid plan for healing. And it’s working! Thank you, Aliza!

Well i have been going here for physical therapy and appointments due to a back issue that I have. I can say that this building is beautiful and the restrooms are pretty fancy. Lol. There is plenty of HANDICAP PARKING ♿ and the building is handicap accessible. There are a few parking spots for clients to use when they must test for Covid prior to entering for a procedure. I have had 2 MRI's done here, an epidural shot in my back, physical therapy, and doctor visits all in the same building. There is more than one business in this building and they appear to work seamlessly together. They are pretty good at getting you through without a long wait time here. Yes! We have multiple fellowship-trained surgeons with decades of experience performing total shoulder replacements. Feel free to call us at 907-562-2277 to learn more about our shoulder specialists and, if you so desire, to schedule an appointment with one of them.
You need to call OPA to find out that info. It's quite a procedure to endure with the recovery.
Yes, we have several fellowship-trained surgeons with decades of experience performing total hip replacements: Dr. Michael Reyes, Dr. Robert Hall, Dr. Eli Powell, and Dr. Jeff Moore. We also have Dr. Tucker Drury and Dr. Deryk Anderson at our Wasilla location. To schedule an appointment, feel free to call us at 562-2277. Thanks for your question!
Susan I'm on week 4 or so on physical therapy and my therapist pushes me very well to strive to push the injury in repair by getting that stretch or strength or tone...I had preconceived notions and they were wrong (knee) I had rotator cuff surgery a couple of years ago and therapy at another place. (Rebound) and honestly it was always the exact excises... not nearly as good In my opinion.
Hi, Ernst! The address of the main OPA location has not changed, but our Rheumatology & Infusion Services and some of our Therapy Services have moved to 3890 University Lake Dr, Suite #110 here in Anchorage. For the full list of our locations, please visit our website at https://www.opalaska.com/. Hope this helps!
Hi, Martha! Thanks for your questions. Yes, we do see teen patients, and yes, we have several sports medicine specialists. For bone, joint, or muscle injuries that occurred within the past two weeks, you can visit one of our walk-in clinics in Anchorage, Eagle River, or Wasilla—no appointment necessary. If there hasn't been a recent, acute injury, an appointment will be needed, and although it may not be same day, it shouldn't be too long of a wait. Hope this is helpful!
Yes, Dr. Jessie Janowski is one of our surgeons who could perform that procedure. The cost would depend on a variety of factors, so it would be best to speak with one of our financial counselors when you schedule an appointment.
Hi there! Do you mean chart access through the patient portal on our website? It should still be available! The login may require new security questions, but the portal is still up and running.
