the worst experience unfortunately I won’t return to have my Egd/colonoscopy. First they over charged me for visit. Was not informed that I wouldn’t be seeing the Dr, but the PA. Was told that I wouldn’t be able to have both test done the same day. I would have to do test separate days and when question as to why the PA told me a bogus story not knowing I had work for a gastroenterologist for 5 years . Wasn’t able to go to my old Dr because I moved to this location and did not want to travel to Ocala. Of course it’s about money. Two surgery visit’s ,anesthesia, and the cost of test. Oh and two days off from work. Money hungry office. Well they do have to pay for that white Sterile looking office.

I saw Marie Scott, ARNP, for my pre-colonoscopy appointment. What a wonderful and kind person. She was very thorough and explained the upcoming procedure step-by-step. Naline scheduled my procedure and was equally as friendly and professional. I highly recommend this office.

I originally called to confirm if a procedure was completed by Dr. Imad Nakshabendi since I could not located my old records, I was told by a scheduling employee that it was. I arrived for my appointment and saw a nurse practitioner who stated the procedure I originally asked about was in fact not done by their doctor and was completed by another, so therefore they did not have my records. I’m sure Dr. Imad is a great doctor, but I’m upset that I spent the money for the appointment when it was a total waste of time, and false information was originally provided to me. Will not be returning. RESPONSE TO COMMENT- I do have access to my online portal and my records were never updated until AFTER my visit where I was told wrong information.

This practice came highly recommended, but with an acute surgical situation, I would expect to see the doctor, on my first visit. I made the appointment to see the doctor and find that my stated confusion about seeing the PA instead was disregarded and not addressed at all. My concern was treated like I had no right or reason to question this practice. Hope to feel respected and confident with my new doctor ...... If I get to meet him before being cut on???!!
