I bought a body control module for a Chevy Malibu I asked the man at the parts counter if it could be programmed to my car he said yes turns out the mileage and vin number gets married to the module and you have to have it rebuilt before you can use it. Call them back and he told me that there is nothing he could or will do other then giving me the number to someone who can rebuild it I could have done that with my old one beware they are out just to make money and don’t care if the parts will work
