I call the women who help so many ladies here my angels because they are just that. They are accommodating and patient and make sure each lady and comes to visit how's that good experience. They offer showers and have clean clothing and accessories so you can do your day feeling beautiful and confident. I believe you can also get your phone charged there to make sure that you have enough power for the whole day. You can get your mail there and I've even had the ladies take the time to talk with me and make me feel better when I was having a very hard day. They truly do make a difference to my day, and the women that go there to utilize Mary house are also wonderful women.

I'm a supervisor at Loaves & Fishes which has many resources for the homeless population in which Maryhouse is for the ladies. A place where they can take showers, get clean clothes, get their mail delivered to, have a great lunch. Also a shower house for the men, they too get a great lunch, etc.....there's even a multi-million dollar park built just for them. Along with a library and computer lab.

Love Mary house. Its a Good & Friendly Environment. A woman don't have to worry about any personal needs . Mentally, Physically Emotionally. Maryhouse is there to help.

S Yang, you can shower Monday - Friday but you must be there before 7 a.m. in order to sign in for showers. You can get your mail delivered by changing your address to their address.
Closed dued to the Holiday
You would have to contact the Delaney Center/Genesis at Loaves and fishes and ask them.. They deal with things like that.
From what I understand the first Saturday of each month they have a vet there goes there with their group.
Go to marys house also the guest house....then go to library downtown 2nd floor talk to mike the navagator he will hook u up with a homeless program that pays deposit and 1st 3months rent
Yes
Hi Betsey! Thanks for thinking of us but unfortunately these are not items we can accept at this time.
The showers are thoroughly cleaned between each user. You get 15 minutes in the shower.
Hi Georgeanne, Service animals are welcome in the program. We are not an overnight shelter.
No. They are pretty strict about it too..
There are a few ways. And none of them are quick fixes. You can do the program at Salvation Army at B Street. Their program offers alot of resources. You have to be on their wait list ... you can go to VOA (Volunteers of America) I don't know their criteria. Then there is Sis Nora's House housed in Maryhouse there has to be a disability or veterans status (for women) and go to St Francis House (14th & C) for a STREET Sheet with all the listings, resources, food and other important contacts for other Shelters like St Johns ... the winter is fast approaching and the nights will get cooler. Time to think about putting your name on a 'waitlist' and keep up with that bc when they call [you] for placement, they ONLY call once! God Bless you tremendously and keep you safe👊❤
would depend on the reason, and severity of the contents for which puts you on this search, for this person.BUT if i was searching for a homeless person, then FRIENDSHIP PARK ,is where I would definitely go to.Only after searching the jails and hospitals first. If its a female than Mary's house yes is where you would go. I wish you the best of luck I hope you find who your looking for and that they're safe and well
Mary house has wonderful DAY time hospitality breakfast, lunch, hygiene products , shower ( you yave to get there REALLY early for that) clothes and help finding shelters and so much mire please give them a try they helped ke so much when i was homeless with my children
There is a program for males there, you have to go to Loave's and Fishes to the Friendship Park and speak to one of the workers there and they can help you. There is shelters.I wish you the best of luck. God Bless
