Stayed here multiple times. Great campground with beautiful river and secluded sites. Owners are super friendly. The dirt road into the campground could use a little work but other than that, no complaints at all.

This will be our third year returning to Oakland Valley. It was the first campground I took my kids to for their first camping trip. Great access to the Neversink river. Its a simple campground just the way it should be.

Horrible experience very sad to say that on a place where you are supposed to be safe and enjoy a great time you have people selling supposed to be legal marihuana consuming it in front of a playground surrounded by kids..on one occasion in front of the playground we was staying a male drunk or intoxicated with substance a drove his car thru the playground surrounded with kids crashed on a ditch and had to be out by a tow truck, imagine how traumatizing this is in a place where you are supposed to be safe. The owner very rude and bad spoken very unprofessional and no costumer service.!!! The bathrooms was nasty and dirty like it was weeks of service, the showers horrible dirty nasty and filthy, no hot water the upstairs male bathroom stool broken and left un repair. The worst experience ever on a camping ground.. felt very unsafe not mentioning the fact that this place is supposed to be a kids friendly environment…. Never going back!!!

DIRTY, UNSAFE & IRRESPONSIBLE OWNERSHIP! Spent memorial weekend there and it was awful. Owner is very rude and does not care about customers nor the place. Bathrooms were nasty by the tent area and the ones by the pool were also not working and dirty. Drunk guy in a van drove tru the playground where our kids were playing and when told to the owner he did nothing ( guy ended up crashing on site, very near to the playground and had to be towed. Ends up he was drunk) Owner came to our group and blamed us for a karaoke we didn’t have and even threatened to kick us out when we weren’t the ones having loud music overnight. Tent site has little to no maintenance and we had to prepare everything to safely put the tents . Half the playground for kids is unusable and unsafe. Overall a very bad experience, but the worst without a doubt was the owner. Never coming back to this site by myself or my family.
