Babcock State Park Campground

I choose this campground as a good centralized location to various West Virginia sights. The campground was nice and the park personnel were friendly. They have a laundry room between the bathrooms and while I didn’t have electricity on-site the bathrooms had outlets to charge your phone at. The playground was pretty nice and the children camping there seemed to enjoy it. For the most part it was peaceful but I booked over a holiday weekend so it was busier and noisier than most of my camping foray’s. It was definitely very peaceful after the holiday when the families with toddlers and babies headed out.
