Beautiful, quiet, and safe. We slept in a tent and our campsite was clean and relaxing. Nice pool and lake for paddle boating too! Highly recommend this if anyone wants to camp on their vacation.

Well I guess I don't have any besides childhood memories to compare to but the bad reviews on here I'm blown away by. We have just started camping and tent stay this weekend being our third stay here! We LOVE it..everyone is friendly the seasonals and weekenders. My children always make friends. Weekends are full of activities and fun. Deedee is wonderful with the children games and crafts. They know all the kids by name and everyone looks out for everyone and the children's safety. The pool is large and clean (do wish it stayed open a little later however) the bathrooms have period of times they are yuck but um hello it's camping and are cleaned through the day. Halloween weekend there was nothing short of a blast. This weekend we participated in red neck game and again had a great time!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!! The staff, the regulars, the facilities… absolutely fantastic. We love the family atmosphere!! The sites are decent size, the store is stocked and the staff take good care of you. There is 1 pool and yes it does get crowded but the lady that was in charge did not play any games. We felt comfortable bringing in our small kids! We will be back and even in process of booking a week!!!

Although first impressions is a bit shabby, with some trash filled seasonal sites to greet you, we lucked out with a very nice site on Rally Field. I'm not sure I would have been so happy on the other side of the campground. Although our site was good, it was ruined by other campers competing on who had the loudest speakers late into the night. So not great if you have a toddler or want to relax. Fireworks being set off by our neighbors in the morning wasn't the peaceful experience I had in mind either, so we decided to cut our trip short. On a good note, Camp shop is well stocked, staff friendly, and pool is clean.

Yes but dogs mist remain on your site. They can't go to the common areas, camp store, playground...ect
We go for just the weekend all the time!!!!
Black Bear in Bear Mt, NY claims to be the closest but is more expensive, and is nicer. But this is a good location to jump on I 195 to the turnpike so it's us an pretty easy trip to NY city.
What are you talking about park models?
They have winter camping 875 a month
Yes they do, but only for registered campers.
They had a site for my 28 last year so I'm sure they do
I'm not sure what kind of fish
Timberland July/August 2018. I had a corner site of an intersection at the top of a hill. Golf carts are crazy. They let teenagers race them around; overall lots of golf carts. I did complain to management about racing and night racing; and they said it was not the rental golf carts racing. It was golf carts owned by campers. I did speak to the parents of one "lead" racer (as did management) and the racing and speed slowed for a day or two. Otherwise, great place. Helpful/friendly. Clean pool. Activities for kids. Close to Great Adventure. I was there for 6 weeks last summer. Very reasonable. Fishing on site. Will go back. SITES ARE CRAMPED. YOU HAVE TO WATCH WHO PARKS ON YOUR SITE IF YOU ARE GONE FOR THE DAY. Again, management stepped up and helped when I couldn't park due to neighbor's cars. Still, I would go back. Bathrooms sometimes were dirty for a day or two. Again, when you complain there is attention given. We have RV with bathroom/shower. Didn't use bath house.
The office is open around 10.
They are not, but they make exceptions for workers and military on temporary assignment.
Depends on the season. Nice place good people. Call them or checkout their website.
They don't rent tbem any.more. you're not missing anything. The place is a dump. Bathrooms are disgusting
Around 5 or 6000
Your group has to sign a roster and send it to the camp office on a4 paper. The heading shall include the name and address of the responsible person in charge of the event. Verification of insurance and the names of everyone operating a vehicle on site as well as the make model and plate number. Include references if you havr any. The permit process takes about 14 days.
There is a food trailer near the pool that is open some afternoons. They sell things for grilling and making sandwiches at the camp storee.
Philly is only an hour and from Timberland Lake Campground, but no public transportation nearby. They do offer Good Sam discount.
