Beautiful place to go fishing, BUT you need a boat to fish here. There's only a few spots you can stand at the waters edge to fish. It's mostly rough terrain and seaweed near the waters edge. They have clean port-a-potties and a little pavilion to sit and eat.

Beautiful state park centrally located between Carbondale and Honesdale. Nice Frisbee golf course used widely. Popular with both hunters and fisherman. There is a decent trail system. Great birding in Spring, also wildflowers. For a smaller park, it does have a lot to offer. I have a friend who scuba dives it every year. Almost a guarantee you'll see a bald eagle any season except winter. Definitely worth a visit any time of the year. Boating is electric motor only, more often than not you'll find just as many canoes and kayaks on the lake as fishermen.
