I drove all the way over to do their Cardio Sculpt class with Carrie at 6:30AM and I was very disappointed that she wanted us to "rotate stations" instead of leading the whole class in a GROUP work out. I absolutely hate that idea and won't be back to any of her classes. Just a suggestion, if a "class" is going to be everyone just rotating around to different stations it should say that in the description. I enjoy classes where the instructor is at the front leading the whole group in exercises not rotating people around to stations and expecting everyone to remember what they are supposed to do at each station and it is not as fun or motivational. I felt like I was back in an Army drill. Also, this is not a HIITs class so why is she incorporating burpees? Lastly, this location seems to only have classes outside which kind of suck for us with poor circulation as I run cold and it is not warm enough yet in my opinion. Last week they had us doing Bodyflow in the rain and wind.. not a great idea as pneumonia is very real.

Mikko is extremely cool, he's very pleasant to people as they come in and extremely informative. I would not have joined this gym if it wasn't for him giving me the lowdown and making me feel comfortable and welcome. This gym is not too busy it's very clean, has all your classes all your equipment and a beautiful pool that's warm, just what I wanted. They have the sprays and towels for you to wipe your equipment down and people do keep their distance and their mask on extremely safe per covid guidelines.

Wonderful club, staff, and friends. This has been my primary facility for 8 years. Love it. The staff is amazing. The spin instructors for the 5:30 AM classes are all terrific! The facility is warm and inviting. The other guests add warmth and friendliness that also contributes to me finding SVFYMCA a terrific place to nurture myself.

Plenty of parking. Staff that always greats you. Classes all day long with monitors in the hallway letting you know what is next. Their instructor for the bike classes are terrific. Gary a trainer is so positive for beginners and those coming back to fitness . He is especially awesome with helping a young man who must be in a wheelchair. Gary is there helping him work out the parts of his body he can use. They have a coffee/ cocoa machine/ water for $1.00. They have complementary towels / new lockers/ floors and paint. The Y is the place to stay strong in body and mind.

There are a ton of classes for seniors. One of my favorites is the water aerobics classes the have. You can go there and take a tour. Go onto their website if your tech savvy. If not everyone is helpful there at the Y and they will show you around. Let them know I recommended you. You will get a 3 day pass to use.
Yes they have an outdoor pool.
