Good quality and professional organization. They were able to squeeze me in to get a fence installed before I had to list my house for sale. Much thanks to the Butte Fence team!!

My mom had a fence installed in her backyard so she wouldn't have to worry about her dog jumping out. Butte Fence came right out and gave her a bid. They maybe a little higher than other companies but the workmanship, communication, and professionalism was fantastic. Her fence is beautiful and installed to perfection. Would recommend for sure to anyone needing a fence.

Andrew, our representative was very responsive and professional. Fence was installed when promised, and looks great. Installers were very professional and friendly. We highly recommend Butte Fence.

The customer service and quality Butte Fence and their installers provide is terrible. My installation included two broken sprinkler lines that were clearly marked, and a sprinkler head that was also clearly marked. Additionally, the installer performed the repair on my sprinkler line and filled the broken line with concrete that I later had to fix myself. When attempting to get in touch with Doug, the salesperson that I got the bid from he would not answer or return my calls. When I spoke with the management at Butte Fence they said I should have known that they have sprinkler professionals that fix any damages done by the installers. Not sure how I was supposed to know that given it was not relayed to me by Doug or anyone else and I did not ask the installer to fix the issue, he volunteered. The quality of the installation is poor. There are weird gaps at the bottom of my gate where they cut the wood crooked. The installers used self-tapping metal screws to attach the gate hardware to the wood frame on the fence and gate. These fell out within a few uses, and I have repaired them myself. This week one my gates fell off of the frame as it was attached my installers with screws that penetrated only about 3/4 of an inch into the board the frame was attached to. All of this has occurred within 3 months of installation, and these gates don't get used a lot. Overall, I would not recommend Butte Fence. They lack customer service, and their installation crews are of questionable competence at best. *Update 11-2020* After writing this review I was contacted by Butte Fence and offered me a a small monetary consideration regarding the issues I had with my fence. It does not change the job that was done, nor the lack of communication during the time the project was occurring, but I appreciate their reaching out to me albeit after I wrote a negative review. *Update 2 - 2021* It has been 6 months since my fence install. Last week we had about 3 days of wind (25 mph sustained with gusts to 50 mph) and I discovered several of my cedar pickets were falling off on the east side of my property. Upon investigation it appears that Butte's installers used 1.25 inch screws for 1 inch cedar pickets. Even with some countersink there was maybe a max of a 1/2 inch of penetration into the soft 2x4 frame supports. I decided to replace all of the hardware and found that several fence pickets were not even fastened at all on the bottom frame, and there were about ten 1-5/8 inch screws used in the whole fence. Moreover there were several screws with the heads busted off in the wood. I am in total disbelief of the amount of work I've had to do to this fence in only 6 months! As it stands now, I've essentially reinstalled the whole fence including adjusting the gate mounting to the frames so that that hang true. All that is left at this point would be to redo the posts. Ridiculously poor workmanship!

Do you make abors/arches

Hi Emily, yes we do make arbors. They are made of vinyl.

What does it usually cost to repair one section of a fence you installed years ago that has pulled back from the bracket? This is a wooden fence.

I work for a different company (EXTREME FENCING). IF IT WAS ME DEPENDIND ON HOW LONG AND IF WAS MY FAULT I WOULD FOX IT FOR FREE. HOWEVER IT SHOULDN'T BE TOO MUCH, DEPENDING ON MATERIALS

Do you provide a warranty or guarantee for your fence installation/products when a buyer pays $6900 for a full vinyl fence? Is there a particular time frame this falls in,if you do offer this?

Yes we have a labor warranty that we can send you for the details. Gates are not typically guaranteed due to the wind or being left unlatched. Our manufacturer has a lifetime warranty on the products that we can send you for the details. Is this a quote or have we installed the fence already?
