Got in around midnight so it was fairly busy and not a lot of car selections. Agents are under a lot of pressure to upsell but they understand when you don't want to and do not force you into anything like other predatory rental agents. Would book at this location again with no hesitation. KEEP IN MIND VERY LITTLE HELP AND A LOT OF PEOPLE DONT HAVE THEIR DOCUMENTS READY WHEN PICKING UP THE CAR

The professionalism demonstrated during the rental checkout helped to ease the change in time of arrival. The price made a difference and the opportunity to walk up quickly provided the comfort that I selected the right rental company. The location of the car was easy to find. Clean inside and out( pictured below). The check back in was great. My receipt emailed to me by the time I got to the terminal. Thanks!

Worst car rental experience ever! Prepaid and chose Fastbreak to save time since we were landing at 10:30pm. Called Budget location earlier that day to confirm that the Fastbreak would be open when we arrived - ensured it would be open until 12AM. When we arrived told Fastbreak was closed and had to wait 30 minutes for a car - this while getting the stink eye from all the other customers who did not choose Fastbreak and had to wait on line for 1 hour (we have a friend who was in that unfortunate situation). FIRST car I received, yes FIRST, was provided with marker writings all over the windows stating "cracked windshield repair needed". It also was smaller than I reserved. I refused that car. The SECOND car provided came with an empty tank. See photo. That car also had to be returned. Glad I checked the tank since Budget clearly did not upon return. The THIRD car was provided with only three-quarters of the tank full. At that point, I was so frustrated and the kids were so tired, I drove off. I regret not taking a photo of that tank! With gas prices what they are now, that could easily have tacked on another $10-$15 on my rental. SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! Very disappointed with Budget.

The service at the time of picking up the vehicle was superb. I was so impressed by the speed and ease of getting the vehicle even without a reservation. It was late. After midnight on 5/13. The 2 gentleman that helped me were awesome and I need to mention them in this survey. The deserve a 10. I gave a 5 because I returned the vehicle at 3:45am on 5/15. There was no one there to check the vehicle in and I followed the written instructions on the wall of the attendant space. According to my paperwork, it was due at 11:59pm on 5/15. Today, I got my receipt and I’m being charged for an additional day because it’s been checked in on 5/16. I don’t appreciate that part. I need my whole deposit back. That’s not fair. I’m currently on pause waiting for customer service to call me back. When I get that additional fee refunded, I’ll update this review

I've been trying constantly for over an hour now. Have to wait through a minute long voice recording to get a chance to say "Yes" to talk to the location, then get hung up on 30 seconds later.

Budget told me when I did this at Sac airport, I didn't have to do any paperwork to add a driver as long as the driver has the same address and is 25. If didn't address they need a deposit.

California charges for everything except hugs! Gas was 4.08 in Sacramento last week.
We ended up having $790 held for a deposit and we didnt even get the truck that we needed instead we got an suv. Ive heard of a $200 deposit but almost $800???? Not to mentioned that was almost 1/2 of what we brought. Now we have to use our credit card which was not the plan . Not to mention the rep. who couldnt explain why we were charged such an astronomical deposit. I don't want to asume but, it could have been based off of our color because when I asked the couple (white) in front of us w/ 3 children how much deposit did they need to put up they said, $200. Oh did I mention they rented an SUV and was staying 2 weeks. We were only stay 6 days w/no children hmmmm...
