A lot of drama WITH THE TEACHERS students were all easy to get along but the teachers were not professional at all. I got threatened by a teacher * Ms Jessie the manicure teacher * and I went to the owner *Ms. Lydia* about the problem and nothing was done. Please if you’re from Highlands I understand, but if you are someone willing to pay out of pocket pleaseee save your money for a better school do your research because I sure didn’t this school is a mess! They have teachers who don’t know how to properly teach nor act professional they come at you with attitude.

Went to sign up in August for september start date, did all my paperwork ( which the interviewer FORGOT i was there and left somewhere for a hour! ) including my financial aid after my intake/interview they said to wait for Ana to call to go over my financial aid …. Ana didnt call me until Almost end of september even after multiple attempts to get into contact with her and my financial aid getting accepted so I missed my start date. I missed her call and literally called back within that hour she “ still isn’t available “ is what the front desk kept telling me then she finally calls again , i miss it call back again within that hour… another month later here we are almost in november and still haven’t received a call. This place is very unprofessional, unorganized, and it was dirty when i walked in it looked so run down i couldnt believe its an actual beauty school. Ill be going to paul mitchell.

I tired to enroll as a student and the process was literally a nightmare. Was totally lied to from the start about the program. Given wrong dates and times about the course then basically told oh well you signed the paperwork so sol for you. Worst customer service ever I don't recommend. I haven't even started the course and it's already an unorganized mess. The paperwork process was like a dirty car salesman. Clearly just wanted me to sign for the non refundable registration fee. I payed for the course by card and now they are giving me a check back. Unbelievable waste of time. Clearly lied to and clearly they don't care. Unprofessional to say the least. The sign up girl said "I just want to get this over with" when I was explaining why I wanted the refund.

I was a student here and I was terminated for having an disagreement with another student. I have no disciplinary action with the school but the other student had multiple actions. Before administration had even spoken with me the decision was made to suspend me. Hours later I received a call stating I was being expelled due to threats when no threats were made. They have no physical proof that the threats were made only hear say. For someone who just paid $1400 for tuition and overtime cost I was terminated with no concern. My money was stolen. I literally had 2weeks until Graduation. The other student was not expelled. Be advised before you apply for this school that the student handbook is only used at their discretion and only in specific cases. The owner of the school had to stop 2 students from fighting in the manicure class and neither student was wrote up suspended or expelled. The treatment is unfair and based off of today's emotions.. I was never given an option to give my story or my witnesses stories. You also have to pay for all the materials that you use. Personal or on clients when they collect the money.My make up hours were not calculated correctly and I was charged $680 for overages. Please do your research before attending this school.
