Amazing space in Davis. It is always free and is great sized museum to visit for 30 mins or an hr. Should be part of everyone's visit. Pair with a walk through the arboretum.

Wonderful place to visit and explore on campus. As a student, I find myself searching for meaningful distractions all the time and I have enjoyed the museum as my home during those times. My only wish is that there be more interactive features for kids and adults since that seems to be an issue with people visiting (people keep trying to touch things even though that is prohibited). Love the staff and the atmosphere. Would go again.

Lovely, welcoming place. Elegant, young staff gave us our bearings and informed us of the zero entrance fee. They had an artist led work project we could attempt...on my birthday I made a Korean layered paper piece of art. The artist was way beyond kind, helpful and informative.

The memorial union on campus is open until 4pm, but there are better options in the city of Davis.
No, but downtown Davis is very close by where they are many places to eat.
It should take roughly 10 to 15 minutes to get to/from the amtrak station, but it depends a lot on traffic
