Mother Rose and the young women who work there are always such a joy. I love the selection of books! Also they will custom order a book if they do not carry it. Support your local Black-owned businesses.

This was my first time coming to underground books. This was for a private event . The bookstore is wonderful with a amazing variety/selection of books along with comfortable seating. It is neat and well organized and had plenty of holiday decor and books on display for the season. I will definitely be back to peruse the shelves since I love reading. If you are a person who likes/loves to read and like being able to turn a page or use a bookmark you'll enjoy this bookstore.

No. However, I believe there is a cafe next door to the bookstore.
If not, they are very good at getting orders back quickly. But there's a good chance they do.
