Okay so this is not a haunted house it’s a HORROR HOUSE. Every room (17 doors) is likely going to test a big fear of yours whether it be falling, electrocution, drowning, etc. If you can avoid the shocks then lucky you and lucky me! Imagine a game where you pick who gets hurt… seemed to work that way and thank goodness I avoided it😂 I heard it really hurts. Listen to the directions y’all! They say you will get wet and you WILL GET WET! These people are messed up and it’s insane in kinda an amazing way. I loved it! My one complaint is the R*** scenes felt very unnecessary, but what a thrill otherwise! Thinking about The field trip!? Wow that’s an experience on its own! Definitely the best Halloween attraction I’ve been too. Be careful though; my friend got hurt badly when he fell. Remember to have fun too! When fear is real it’s a whole other level! Ask for Freddie Savage if you do the field trip. You’ll see ;) Oh and it clearly says don’t sit in the chair if you don’t want the haircut. They will cut your hair… don’t sit in the chair and they don’t. Reading is fundamental

Since it was my first time going, I had big expectations but ultimately, was very disappointed. There were literally NO jump scares whatsoever. It was the complete opposite of scary and located in a not so good area. It was I guess a good experience to go for the first time but definitely it is not a fun event to go to annually. Definitely not worth the money. If you want to get somewhat scared, go to the amusement park attractions because you’d definitely get more scared and have more fun than this place. Do as you wish with my information.

If, like me, you find other places tame and dull and have been looking for a Halloween haunt experience that challenges your limits, this is the one. This took me to the limit several times! And I am not prone to anxiety at all! True psychological horror and thrills and you will not be in control. Recommended!

Great haunted house experience. Have to say its the best I have experienced so far compared to any of the theme parks. Loved the them and even towards the later part of the day the cast does a great job of staying high energy. Got to be one of the dew last groups through through on encore night. So wish I would of done this years ago. Dont miss it this next year.

16+ but if younger than up to the parents
Yes but they have an event for Christmas too . Totally awesome both events. Well worth your time Katie . I had so much fun, i went to both . Definitely going back next year . THEY DIDN'T HAVE A CHRISTMAS ONE IN 2019, I APOLOGIZE FOR THE WRONG INFO. I guess they either stopped having a Christmas one or just didn't do it .
Well who does
Yes there will be
I mentioned earlier I personally do not like to be scared or pay to But, I live in the area and I hear it's Fricken Scary and since these production people have been doing their Scary Stuff up on Orangethrope next to 99¢ store thrill seekers Flock to the 17th door. If anyone Loves the Rush of being Scared go check em out I doubt you will be disappointed, you may piss your pants lol
Sure!! As long as you are still able to wear a protective fask mask and safety glasses ;)
Yes. Its not reccomemded but its entirely up to the parent if they want to bring them. Parent will have to sign the waiver.
They have had a Christmas event in the past, but I dont know if they are planning one this year. If so, I'd imagine you'd buy it through the website.
That was helpful do u know how to get the tickets
We bought them at the door $37 VIP passes no line... $31 Without and $5 extra if you want the mercy glowstick pass which keeps them from shocking you and putting bugs on you lol.. I dont recommend it because you'll lose out on most of the experience... :)
I thinks at least 1 adult has to be there. I know I had to be there for my daughter when she was under age a couple of years ago.
Guests will experience a continuation of the story of Paula. The story takes place at Perpetuum penitentiary once again but things are definitely changing and progressing toward the final chapter !
You should be ok, I dont see a problem at all. You'll have a great experience or an addiction in my case lol
Only if you hurt yourself otherwise no they will touch you and get really close check out there website when purchasing ticket
No
We often announce promo codes for certain nights on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Be sure to follow @the17thdoor !
You could be there a little later, just before 12:00A midnight.
yes you may buy tickets at the door
Yes they do cut your hair and put bugs on you
Yes. $27 per Ticket
$27 per ticket
It’s different for everyone but it definitely stings! Also, some get shocked multiple times and some avoid it completely! You can always say the safe word “mercy”!
I took my GF and her 13 year old grdaughter she loved it. Just KNOW if anyone gets in the barber chair you will get a haircut
It's open until the 31st of October
There are bugs, 17th Door is by far the best experience you'll ever get this Halloween!
Read the waiver and take it seriously. Its not there as a scare tactic, it's a warning of what you will experience
Yes, you may purchase that add-on when you arrive.
Parent or guardian must sign waiver if attending while under the age of 18.
Technically the parent of the kid has to sign the waiver. I'm not sure, but the parent might have to be present.
No biggest group this year is 7. You would have to do 2 groups of 6.
If you've gotten a tattoo, it feels like the vibration of the tattoo gun/needle. It hurt for a few second after but not for long.
Not a coffin, but a locker-like confined space.
Best to go with an adult strong sexual content
No I would not recommend it.
As long as there are tickets available for that date you should be able to. If tickets go on sale on that date, that just means that's the soonest you can buy tickets for your selected date.
It never hurts to have your I.d on you. Are you asking to prove youre over 18 or 21?
We are still planning to open! Sorry for the delay. Stay tuned!
I'm sorry. I don't know. I didn't even know they have a Christmas one. Sorry.
The customer service desk is full of really nice people, I'm sure if you explained it to them they would be more than willing to help.
Definitely wouldn't recommend bringing a 10yr old to this. Must be one helluva mature 10yr to handle the situations you'll be exposed to.
Not sure. You might want to send them a message
Tickets can sell out. There are time slots that sell out faster than others. The waivers can be printed and signed ahead of time or picked up and signed at 17th Door. Do whichever is easier for you.
Haircuts were in 2017 only. And, you can purchase a Mercy Pendant for $5 to prevent you from getting shocked & coming into contact with bugs. (95% effective LOL)
The line outside can sometimes be longer than the experience inside. Arrive early for your time slot and you should be fine. Also, there was (still is) a VIP ticket line that lets you bypass the majority of the wait. If you can spare the extra cash, I would look into it.
Yes, but their parents will need to sign the waiver for them! You may download it from our site.
I don't know bout tickets, the price or printing em out i just know from pol who have gone and they say its worth the $$ abd Scary as Hell
$25-40 depending on the night and if you buy General admission vs VIP Speed Pass. You can find all dates of operation and prices on our website! www.the17thdoor.com/tickets
Yes
It has not been determined but signs point to not this year.
We are taking a couple days off for some much needed rest! We will go thru all lost and found items over the next several days. Thank you for your patience.
$20 on site
If you purchased the 9-10pm time slot, you may arrive anytime between 9-10pm!
Price varies on night. Check their website at www.the17thdoor.com
Yes, we will allow you to do so, as long as it's the same night.
Contact the venue. I think its done that way so the wait time isn't so long. Have a blast!!!
If you arrive 6:45-7:00, wait should be 15-20 mins. It will be a busy night. 8pm will get crowded.
Thats not true kt balcom
Yes, that's fine.
Yes, however, if you are concerned, you may buy the Mercy Pendant for $5 which will help protect you from the bugs and the shocking. Thx!
We don't want to give away any secrets! High enough to be scary and low enough to be FUN.
What are bugs and shocking
Ok great because that was really my deciding factor because I didnt want to ruin my clothes on my birthday
Yes it is! We will send you through with a guide. There are only a few rooms you will need to bypass.
Hello, Sounds like he was just messing with you... trying to get into your head! Did it work? LOL
10/31. Please visit www.the17thdoor.com for more info
About 35-45 minutes
You may purchase a Mercy Pendant for $5 to avoid bugs and shocks.
I believe you can get them at the door, but I would recommend purchasing before you go. And dont get the mercy pendant.... Get the full experience...lol. Hope you have fun. It was a blast.
You will go through in groups of 4-8, sizes will be determined by our staff depending on the night. Thanks!
yep! i was tased last year. intentionally because i told the guys i wasnt scared with roaches that he put on my face. i got a lil cut on my finger because of it and he said “ohh u guys signed the waiver and we didnt.”! i was pissed to b honest but the whole experience was fun. i was sport about it! and def going back this year!
The show is geared toward a mature audience and the recommended age is 16+. It's really up to the parents. Thanks. Yes, you may purchase tickets at the door, however, we highly recommend buying online as may nights and time slots will sell out. Thanks!
We have had 1 or 2 who have fainted but we have thousands of guests who keep coming back for an intense and exhilarating experience!
Hi Erica, Yes - you may come in during operation hours and buy tickets for a future date at the Box Office. We do recommend buying in advance either online or in person as may dates and time slots will sell out. Thanks!
Please arrive between the hours printed on your ticket. Thanks!
The Barber has left Perpetuum Penitentiary! No haircuts this year.
There's no strict age limit other than no babies or toddlers. It's meant for teens and adults, though, and in any case, a legal waiver must be signed.
Yes we are! A new and improved show! We open Sept 21st. Please visit www.the17thdoor.com for all of the details and to buy tickets!
Hi Mark! We found your order. I replied to your direct message on Facebook. See you soon!
We did cut hair last season but almost all of our rooms are changing this year and you will not be seeing The Barber at Perpetuum Penitentiary in 2018!
Yes, you can buy individual tickets for $27
Thru Halloween
Tickets can be purchased on site
Ask an attendant for more details.
