This place is really great I would almost say 3-3.5 star hotel rating, but the price this guy's really have you right! Rooms are spacious. Security of the building is pretty good better than anything around and again the price!

Cute, cute, CUTE! Room was smaller than expected, but quickly forgotten when I started lounging by the pool, and enjoying the bustling area of Koreatown. Honestly such a great hotel, and perfectly central location. Can't wait to come back!

I have stayed here twice in the last week. Lovely place. Staff is very friendly. Service is fantastic. On-site parking is 30$ night. Parking in the neighborhood is VERY hard to find. I have respiratory issues, so I checked the AC unit in the room upon my arrival. There was blackmold growing on the interior of the AC vent. I called the front desk and was promptly issued another room with no mold in the AC. Over all, I enjoy the establishment and will stay here when I am in the area. Thank you to the staff.

This review is for a standard king room. Keep in mind this hotel only became Shelter in 2019 or 2020. Prior to that, it was a Days Inn, so older reviews would not apply. The good: very clean, the rooms are good sized. The bed is comfortable as are the pillows. Location is in a more residential area, so it is pretty quiet. It is a short walk to areas of interest (restaurants and shops, the Wiltern is a 15 minute walk). I felt safe walking around the area at night. Each room has a safe and a mini fridge. The blackout blinds seal out the light quite well. The outside door is locked around 9pm, but the front desk is staffed 24/7, so you only need to buzz to get in. This is a nice safety feature. The doors also have deadbolts. The bad: bathroom is rather small, but functional. You can hear water running very clearly while in the bathroom and somewhat in the room. The A/C unit is rather loud, so you may be forced to choose between sleeping peacefully and sweating, or trying to sleep cool with a small jet engine. The desk is positioned in front of the closest outlet, so you'll have to stretch a cord if you'll be using a laptop. Also, the desk top is not conducive to optical mice - they don't work well at all on the surface, so bring a mouse pad. The ugly: although located in a quiet neighborhood, you can easily hear trucks and loud cars when they pass outside. There is no dresser, but the closet has a few shelves. I might say the a/c unit struggles a bit to keep the room cool.

It is an option to request one during booking. I would call to confirm.
To register at the hotel you mean? I am from Argentina, in my case they asked me for a passport
It is a good hotel, the corridors are reduced, unlike in its spacious rooms and comfort
