I would say the food is fine. Some things they do better than others. The risotto is very bland. Their pasta dishes and pizzas are good. The roasted artichokes and salads are great. I appreciate that they offer zucchini noodles instead of gluten pasta. Where they could really improve is on the Customer Service. We’ve been coming here for almost 3 years. Recently the Customer Service seems to have gone downhill. Of all the restaurants we’ve eaten in Ashland, I would say these servers are probably the least friendly. It’s sad. Customer Service really shapes a person’s experience.

They were very busy when we went and for good reason, the food was phenomenal and the wine was somehow better. Coming from a family of wine lovers I can not recommend their selection enough. I got the shrimp pasta and my mom got prosciutto arugula pizza and we shared a cheesecake that I will be dreaming about for the next 50 years. The only reason they don’t have a higher rating is that the servers seem disorganized and it took forever for our footprint to get there. Overall well worth the wait.

After driving through a snow storm and winding roads to get to Ashland, we were tired and starving and was ready for some comfort food. Pie + Vine didn’t disappoint. We were thrilled to see roasted artichoke on the menu. We ordered that, Mediterranean pie and a salad with grilled tuna. We couldn’t believe the size of the salad full of fresh local salad, beans, artichoke and a giant piece of grilled tuna. The Mediterranean pizza was tasty and again more fresh artichoke. Portions were big. Friendly service even though our server charged us for a whole bottle of wines instead of a glass. He apologized and corrected the bill.

The food here never disappoints, and the service is impeccable without being intrusive. This pizza with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, kalamata olives, ricotta, pepperocini, and garlic was amazing! >^..^<

Are the pizzas a 1 person or 2 person size?

Depends. I can eat one by myself, but, some people who eat less and maybe got an appetizer starter and a desert after would be satisfied with the size.
