Excellent trail with valley views and wildflowers. A bit slippery and rocky in places so wear hiking boots

The trails here provide some spectacular views of the northwest portion of Rogue Valley. If you are looking for a "dog park", this is not it. The trails are dog friendly, though there are leash laws requiring your dog to be on leash. I recommend doing so due to the high amount of wildlife that inhabits the area. Be aware: there is copious amounts of poison oak. Update: blackberry and fuel reduction efforts have cleared a lot of land. Still poison oak everywhere

Questions & Answers

This leads me to a gated housing development. Is there a better place to park?

End of Skycrest works well.

How do you get there? I parked in a roundabout that Google said was the park. There was a bridge in some trees, but that's all I could find.

We park in the cul de sac at the end of Sunnyview and walk up the path between the two fences and houses. From there you can get to the top quickly and explore the other side with the irrigation ditch.
