Stopped at chromatic on the way to Monterey. I love finding local small roasters to visit when traveling. I loved the location. Fun cool spot. Coffee was good and simple variety. I loved that they had their own syrups. Coffee beans are a little pricey for what you get. But other than that it's a great place to visit. Staff was really nice.

I never leave disappointed. The lattes are always so creamy & smooth. They have many roasts to choose from if you want to take a bag home with you. Highly recommend!

Try their Dolce de Leche latte. It's pretty good. (It was little sweet). Coffee is quite acidic tho. There's no indoor seats, but there are outdoor seats available. Cool interiors.

Coffee was acidic and barely warm. We ordered cappuccinos on soy milk and cortado. No flavor just sour tiny coffee. The hand pies were great thought, especially the one with berries. But I was there for good coffee which i unfortunately didn’t get to try.

Our main roast days for café is Monday and Thursday, with bags put on the shelf Tuesday and Friday or within 24 hours. We prefer brewing and drinking our coffee 3 days after roast to allow for some CO2 to dissipate and allow for the flavors to open up. If you need it fresher for traveling purposes or on a different day, you can always order online.
They do a great job. They limit number of people allowed inside and it is for ordering only. After you order, you wait outside. The order is delivered to you via an externally facing window.
