Made apt for tires and oil change. It was for 8am. My ride picked me up at 840am and my car hadn't moved. And I was given an estimate time of 5pm pickup. I didn't have much confidence in PepBoys. But I was really surprised when they called at 1030am and said it was ready. Would of been 5 stars but my TPMS light that was on because of old tires leaking was left on when I got it back. And they never checked pressure on any of the tires in the pre inspection. But turned out to be faster than I thought.

On Memorial Day, I arrived early and Eduardo and Nick were nice and helpful. I received an oil change and needed a new tire. Good communication, timely work completed. I'm very happy, and I will return again. Story Road, San Jose

This has to be one of the worse auto/tire shop out there. I called at 3pm, asking to replace one tire and was told by the female service advisor that to come in and they can get it done in about an hour. Being Memorial Day, it was one of the few that was open so I drove across town to that. Didn’t get her name, but she has absolutely zero customer service skill. Said they will be closing early at 5:30pm and it should be done in less than an hour. While I was leaving she said “something is wrong with your car, it isn’t turning on!“ mind you, it’s a hybrid and clearly saids it when you turn on.. curious on how she works at an auto shop without knowing?? So I decided to drop off the car, came back in an hour and my car still hasn’t been worked on. I walked in, no one bother to update. The female service advisor is chit chatting and laughing with the mechanics. Sat there waiting till finally 5:15pm and was told by her that they don’t have time to service my vehicle…so it’s been over 1.5hrs and she decided to call me then to tell me and she is closing up at 5:30pm. I highly do not recommend coming in, it’s a reputable name but ran by bunch of kids who lack any service skills. Avoid and take your business elsewhere!

This was the first & last worst experience I've ever had at this Pep Boys on Capital. I took my vehicle in to get one of my front tires replaced because one of them had a slow leak. I was assisted by both Eduardo and Carlos who had changed out the wrong tire on my vehicle. I went into Pep Boys again on my only day off, just so I can get this issue resolved ASAP because I do have a toddler and need to make sure my vehicle is safe. Now, the tire pressure symbol still remains on. I decided to just take my vehicle to a different shop where they had confirmed that my drivers side tire had a small hole in it and that was the one that needed to be replaced all along. I am never going back to this place again. 😡😡😡

Typical pepboys.....
No idea. You would have to call them and ask.
You'd have to take it down there.
Good idea Val, I've heard too many stories of people getting repairs on parts that aren't necessary or that you can easily do yourself.
