Great atmosphere and food is amazing. I’ve been to this place a few times for family gatherings. We all enjoyed our food. I removed a star for two reasons. We waited 30 minutes to be seated when we got there. Our reservations was for 6:45 and we were seated at 7:15. They did comp us our appetizers which were delicious but still, we had a party of 8 at the start of the eve so not sure why the big wait. The other reason was the few cocktails we had that were whiskey drinks had lots of ice instead of a single or maybe two ice cubes. They were watered down. For the price of those drinks they shouldn’t have the same ice as the water and sodas. My dad had a scotch served they looked like it was a soda and he had to fish all the ice out. Other than those two things the service was wonderful and food on point. I’d just suggest you order your ice on the side.

Wow! I love this restaurant. Came here for lunch and was totally amazed! The ambience is truly unlike anywhere else in the Bay Area, and the romantic theme was definitely captured throughout. While that was great, the food was also excellent. Had the Caesar salad, Blackened Shrimp Mac and Cheese, and the steak sandwich. Each dish was better than the last Cannot wait to come here for dinner!!!

A fabulous spot for some warm/attentive service and delectable bites. Do yourself a favor and get there early to walk the beautiful grounds before checking in at the host table. Take the one minute gondola ride back up to the parking area at the end for the experience and views. If you're staying nearby, have them pick you up in their classic cab. Outdoor seating is right on the waterfront and tables in the garden room overlook the outdoor seating/water area and offer a treehouse feel, as you sit surrounded by greenery and expansive panels of windows, which elevates the dining experience. The fillet was one of the best prepared I've had- charred on the outside and extremely tender. All the seafood was well cooked- firm/bouncy in texture and very moist/flavorful.

Absolutely amazing dining experience. Getting to the restaurant, you have the option of a gondola/trolley like ride or stairs. At the bottom of the restaurant, you can find some stunning views that look like they're out of a fairy tale. The calm water makes a beautiful mirrored scene. Getting into the restaurant the staff are all friendly and polite. The views, lighting, and ambience are well on point. The brie appetizer and jalapeno jam was delicious. I enjoyed my lamb entree. The coffee and cheesecake at the end was fantastic. I love that I didn't feel overwhelmed by quantity of food. It was just the right amount to make me satisfied. The only thing I didn't like was I ordered a margarita and the lime inside looked a bit old. In all fairness, it was my mistake to order a margarita. The wine selection was awesome and the server was knowledgeable in his recommendations. I would definitely make a trip out here again when I can.

Agree with Carlos, the garden room is lovely. You won't regret dining there!
Pets would be out of place and most other guests would be put off by animals in the dining room. Live animals and food for human consumption don't mix.
They do accept service dogs with no paperwork required. There are several outdoor areas including the terrace up to and two down below, however they book up quickly outside so plan ahead and specifically ask for outdoor seating
One size about 6 slices I'd like to say
They don't read these questions, you may have to call them.
We had lobster featured as a special but are no longer offering it.
Yes, Tuesday night is happy hour all night in the bar, half off appetizers. Not sure about drink specials but the cheap eats are worth the trip!
Yes, I have ordered one
Business casual, no cut offs, ball caps, or tank tops. It is an upscale restaurant so no beach clothes.
I don't believe happy hour prices are available for the time being. Most restaurants are just trying to get back on their feet. I am sure when businesses start to flourish again, happy hour will return. Before covid Shadowbrook had a different Happy hour daily. Starting at 4:00 to 6 :00. For example: Tuesday was locals night. Two for one appetizers. Wednesday was winemakers night. Flights of wine tasters complimented with an appitizer taster. One of my favorites at a great price. Try the Perfect Pear Martini...sooooo good. Wear comfortable shoes and try walking the stairs to the restaurant instead of the cable car. So beautiful and views of the river all the way down. Take the cable car back up. So much fun!
No inside dining. Only pick up or delivery through 3rd party.
They have a phone number. Use it.
They have a couple of really cool vintage cabs that will pick you up for free. Call them and make reservations
We currently do not offer any to-go foods. Moreover, we're fully closed for business until dine-in becomes available again. -Sean
We just ate there on Sunday afternoon. It was delicious as always.
Like all the answers above, the rock room is for families
There is one behind the restaurant. It is a short walk to the beach if you want a nice view. Also there are several levels to the restaurant, lots of flowers, and a waterfall.
You need to call well before the holiday for brunch since this restaurant is so busy all the time. Call early in any day to get the best chance.
Take the path (stairway) and walk through the garden or the take the romantic tram...
All of the spaces are lovely in their own way. Different views.
Don't think so but it is very popular place and strongly recommended specially if you want to seat by the window. Even at the bar it gets busy.
I don't believe they do. However, I have yet to be disappointed with their selection, quality, or presentation. And nothing compares to the beautiful views and the amazing service!
Yes, I saw well behaved children there
I would call the restaurant for the most up to date info. O have alwYs found the prices to be resonable.
