Live 6 miles away. Always been a beautiful area. The gated road is an excellent biking path. That's my main reason for visiting this area. Oh, and fireflies earlier in the year.

We just went for the day. Nice swimming area with picnic tables , bathrooms and showers were nice. It’s $5 a car on the honer system. Kids had a nice time.

Nice campground to get away from it all. Our site was a little muddy but most were really dry for a rainy weekend. Loved how private the sites were. No cell service with Verizon. It was an unexpected treat to disconnect which you don't find in many places anymore. There is no dump station at the campground but we dumped on the way home. Great fishing and a nice little beach for the kids. Definitely will have to visit again. The guy on site taking care of the place was super friendly.

I believe most campgrounds shut down end of October
Near the swimming area there are flush toilets and showers. On the camping loops are composting toilets.
There is no winter camping at all gates are locked upper and lower until first day of trout season
