Do not recommend! Cabins are filthy dirty, floors were so slanted that everything rolled. We regularly visit campground sites as a family and aren’t picky, but this place was gross and missed the mark by a lot. Bathrooms barely worked. Management was incredibly rude and made mistakes in our reservation but refused to make it right or even apologize. This place is advertised as a resort but there are few amenities to speak of. Plenty of other campgrounds to give your business too- The front desk manager was over the top rude and I wish we had booked our vacation elsewhere. Raystown Lake itself was gorgeous and I recommend the beach access point at the park.

Would not recommend staying here! Booked two cabins side by side to visit family who are permanent renters. When …There are two sides to every story, and then the truth. But this is not the proper venue. Only to say why would campground management simply kick a long term tenant out without just cause. Yes the cabin was reassigned to an identical one one away, with apologies, but that didn’t warrant the aftermath of events. We pride ourselves in the cleanliness of the cabins and property, and as can be seen by multiple 5 star reviews. This and one other review posted a day apart after season is a personal attack, as a vendetta, not an honest review

Would not recommend staying here! Booked two cabins side by side to visit family who are permanent renters. When we arrived, we were told another group was given one of our cabins. This group had apparently lied to the owners. The owners suggestion was to ruin their stay by being very loud and told us we would not be kicked out if they complained. We are not those type of people, so we did not attempt to ruin their stay. We were not happy and made that known to the owners. No apology was given, only excuses. Our cabin was dirty and falling down the side of the hill. This is a safety hazard and needs to be condemned. A week later, they owners decided to kick this family out of their permanent campsite without notice or reason. A family who has been at this same site for many years and routinely spends their entire summer there. Bills paid on time, no past infractions or issues, site clean and grass always cut. A family who called this place home. I hope they like you because you maybe next. I have been coming to this campground for over 18 years and will never go back.
