Before they were bought out this review would be 5 stars. They have saved many of the rescue animals in my care. I am forever grateful to the staff of RAETC, and sincerely thank them for helping animals. Nothing but the best for them- I have found them to be stellar techs and vets. However, since they’ve been bought out, their service has been unreliable. It used to be 24hr, now it’s 10am to 10pm. Every time I have called them with an emergency this year I was told they’re an urgent care service and to bring the animal to Shores for emergency treatment. I do not believe that RAETC can call itself an animal emergency trauma center anymore. If they do still handle trauma cases it’s not consistent day to day. Working in rescue, I cannot rely on them to treat emergency cases. In the future I will always go to Shores first, and that’s a shame because Rossmoyne is not only closer to me, but has excellent veterinary staff. Edit: They need to be more realistic and transparent about what patients they can see. Should’ve went to Shores first like I said, but their close proximity to our rescue and urgency won out. Our rescue called and explained the situation and was told over the phone that they could treat a wound in a dog, and they would expect us with the dog. We get there only to be told that they couldn’t treat the dog. I understand they can’t evaluate fully over the phone- but we would have really appreciated being told that if the wound was too time consuming to treat they would not be able to treat it and to go directly to another clinic. I understand staffing issues and getting swamped completely, but it’s the broken promises that gets me. We shouldn’t have been told over the phone they would treat the dog. We should have been told that they could only know IF they could treat it tonight, if they saw it in person. To waste time in a parking lot with a dog in pain is a shame. They’re not the same Rossmoyne I used to know.

They saved my dogs life with an emergency surgery. Buddy's back to normal and doing great. I can't thank them enough.

Beyond the fact that the staff was rude, seemed more concerned about my money than my animal. The charges didn't even add up correctly in their system because half of them were nonsense. They didn't give me the medication my cat was to be treated with after i left either so i get to take another trip back. They saw her fast. That's about all i can say that is positive. And seeing how i was scared for her life i cannot undermine that. Mu cat is still coming off meds and hasn't exactly moved or eaten since coming home 12 hours ago. Ill update

avoid taking your pet here at all costs. my cat passed away hours after we returned home after we were informed he was okay & prescribed medication. $1200 just to have my cat suffer for a few more hours instead of giving us the option to put him down.

Idk about this but If you have a large bill consider CareCredit. They accept it there and lots of places nearby and if you have a bill over $200 you can get 6 months of no interest.
Unfortunately we do not.
Yes we have a cardiologist here at RAETC. Dr Goodwin comes most Mondays. If you would like to an schedule appt, please call in and we can let you know his next available days. He's wonderful and is one on one with you while performing the scan. We also have an ultrasound company that will perform an echo, and would be sent out and read by a radiologist.
