One of the most beautiful campgrounds we have visited. The woods, hiking and nature are the primary draws for this campground. However, they up their game with nicely paved roads and camp sites. The park provides clean water and nice electric pedestals at each site. The bath house was clean and bug free. The camp host was nice as well. Food, gas and other essentials are 4 miles away. I like the way the park does not have street lights, thus allowing for star viewing. Highly recommend this campground.

Nice quiet park, fire rings only in back loop, sites are large enough to function easily, very wooded. Hiking, biking and a small lake just a few minutes away. Would stay again.

This campground is a hidden gem. Having grown up in northern NJ I would have never believed a campground existed this close to busy Bergen county. All the sites are wooded and very spacious. We had a 30 amp hookup plus a water connection which was great as most state parks in PA only have electric hook ups at sites. We loved how the fire pit was situated behind the asphalt pad under the trees. Also the campground is small with around 20 sites total so it will not get crowded or loud even when full as it was when we stayed over memorial day weekend. Highly recommend staying here if in the area!

This is a well maintained public park with a few Electric/Water sites available for booking during the camping season. Book early for weekends and holiday times. No sewer but dump station onsite. Hiking trails onsite and easy access to local restaurants, grocery and beautiful Lake Hopatcong. Closest proximity to NYC make this a real gem.

Yes, I'll confirm what others have already said. It's a wonderful place to camp over a weekend or longer. Pets are welcome. Great hiking and wonderful overlooks to check out the beautiful fall colors. North Jersey at its best!!
Called office and they do not give military rate on weekly rate only daily. I paid full price online and when we arrive the office will refund daily rate after showing military ID
Dunno. The the Morris County Parks website should tell you.
Online is best, although some paper trail maps at be available on site. In any case, it is one of the best camping sites in the Northeast.
As Henry said, they have a dump station. No onsite sewer hookup.
Yes. Take Parkway North to I-287 north to I-80 West. Get off 80 at Exit 34B. You want the Weldon Road exit. The reservation is ten minutes down the road.
Yes there is fishing in staffins pond, right off the parking lot. Very good smallmouth bass fishing and bluegill too. No swimming tho..only the swim team can swim there. And no personal watercrafts.
