Eagle Scouts have done a Great job with trails. More progress every year. Wish people would stop dumping their trash there. Huge racing looking tire in bottom lot. Also someone dumped garbage over the hill of Jamesville ave by the drainage ditch. You people are rude please stop

This was a quick walk from where I was staying in Jamesville. I want to enjoy a Pokemon Go event at a place with some stops. I love walking pretty parks during these events and was happy to know this one was down the street. I was a bit concerned about the snow-covered ground as I am not used to trekking through snow or ice. This little park had a trail, and you could see that it was used even on snowy days like this. I was a little scared to go all the way down to the river, but I still enjoyed the woods and fresh air. It was a great park and I hope to see it without the snow next time.

Surprising variety of walking/hiking for a small area. Great for younger kids, new hikers, or mobility limited visitors. The creek is beautiful. Limited parking.

Questions & Answers

How long is a hike there and what type of views are there?

The hikes are not long, and they're easy to handle. There are benches placed sporadically to rest or just enjoy the sound of the water. We enjoy taking our dogs there on a hot day to walk in the water. Be sure to spray with OFF before going in.

I am training to become a certified Forest Therapy Guide. Whom do I need to ask if I can use this site for my guided walks? Also is there someplace or someone that knows of any history for this site going back to Native Americans?
