Our dog learned how to walk off leash at this location. He loved to play and swim in the stream at the off-leash area.

Wow way to ruin someone’s first time coming to your park! I took my dog to the park today and after my dog did it’s business I picked it up and started walking towards the dumpster. Before I knew it an older gentleman came up on a golf cart and started yelling at me for throwing away my dogs waste. He was so unprofessional in the way he chastised me. I have TBI and am not always the quickest but I though I was doing the right thing…I wanted to cry and just ruined my time at the park. I think my dog enjoyed the park so one star lol.

You can find good fishing along Butternut creek, which flows alongside Jamesville reservoir
You can use the beach, the children's playground and barbecue.
Last time I went they said the algae was already significant enough and they no longer charge entry but also prohibit swimming.

No beach part fenced off only have access to picnic area
Dogs can be off leash now in the dog park portion of the park
I dont see why not go in winter just might be muddy

Swimming is allowed only in designated areas, it's very beautiful and clean where swimming is allowed
The water is great to swim in. My kids had am amazing time an didnt wanna get out

Not at the beach. There is a dog area on the other side of the park though with a creek that lots of dogs play in.
The doggie park is surrounded by two creeks. There is also a trail that every one uses. A make shift doggie beach is on the trail. The park provides poop bags. If you're dog is not fixed, it's best to leash the dog and use another area to walk them. Bad dogs are not tolerated at the park and will be banned.
