I absolutely love Orangetheory Fitness in Lenexa, KS. From walking into class to leaving class it is a fantastic experience! The staff at the front desk, the coaches, and the amazing community of members is really wonderful! All the coaches do a great job no matter which class you attend! Started at OTF last October after wanting something more to my regular workout routine. I like that each day is a different workout, but the core focuses stay the same (endurance, power, ESP, strength). The staff is super friendly. Coach Dalton and his team really care about the member’s fitness goals and go out of their way to make each day an enjoyable experience. Definitely would recommend doing the free class to see if it’s something you want to add to your routine.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to this Orangetheory Leawood. I just had a baby and once I got cleared to workout again, I wasn't sure if getting back into OTF would be "safe" during my postpartum. I briefly stopped in just chat with the staff and coaches to see if they could help me out with getting back to it. Coach Dalton was awesome!! He took the time to sit down and chat with me about his plans for me in coming back. THANK YOU COACH - I'm officially one week back to my OTF workout "postpartum" and can not wipe the smile off of my face. I've been away for a while, so I came back to all new coaches, staff and management...they are all fantastic people. The studio manager, Tim, is so happy and passionate about his job, which shows in how great the studio is now! I couldn't be happier getting back to my home studio: Orangetheory Leawood!

If you’ve already been doing Orangetheory and become pregnant, check with your doctor first. Our heart rate monitoring is a perfect way to keep an eye on your intensity as you progress through your pregnancy. If you are a few months into your pregnancy and haven’t been doing any sort of fitness training, wait until after you have your baby and we can help get you back into shape!
Absolutely. Our coaches are trained to provide options for each exercise on the floor, in addition to offering a low-impact bike and strider alternative in place of the treadmill for lower body injuries or orthopedic restrictions.
Of course. Orangetheory is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is free and encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free introductory workout, then discussing any thoughts or questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.
Splat Points indicate minutes spent in the orange and red zones. Aim for 12 or more Splat Points per class.
Orangetheory is 5 Zone heart rate based interval training using specifically designed and timed interval training blocks. During a workout, members focus on Zones 3, 4 and 5. The workouts are designed to produce 12 minutes or more in Zones 4 & 5 combined (to achieve the after burn) during the treadmill training portion of the workout.
We’ll ask that you arrive no more than 15 minutes before workout and avoid congregating in the lobby.

Our workout room has a variety of equipment including treadmills (bikes and striders as alternatives), WaterRowers, and floor equipment including dumbbells, benches, TRX suspension trainers, medicine balls, BOSU trainers and AB Dollys.
Orangetheory is a 1-hour, full body workout, focused on training to build endurance, strength and power. We use heart rate-based interval training, which burns more calories post-workout than traditional exercise. When wearing our heart rate monitors, your real-time results are displayed on large screens throughout the studio. Intensity is based on your individual heart rate zones, making the workout effective for all fitness levels. To top it off, our fitness coaches lead the workout to prevent you from overtraining or undertraining.
OTbeat™ is our exclusive heart rate monitoring technology. Members have the unique experience of seeing real-time data during their workout, enabling them to push themselves to new limits. After class, they can then monitor their improvements through emailed results and by using the Orangetheory Fitness app.

I park in the garage. Additional charge depends on the studio. For example I belong to Leawood so no extra charge unless I go to a NYC, Boston or certain studios that are in high rent districts
