Too bad that there is not a minus 10 rating. This is absolutely hands down the worst company with whom I've EVER had to deal in my entire adult life (and I am 71!) 1) I was on the Keep Full schedule but alas, that never happened. prior to working with Pinnacle, I was not used to checking the propane gage because Heetco ALWAYS took care of me. No so with Pinnacle. The first time I ran out of propane was mid winter and, despite my daily harangues, it took 2 days to get a refill! My $9000 Generac Standby generator of course quit working. I had to pay $400 for a service call to recalibrate it which, you guessed it, was never refunded. After that time I religiously checked the gage and always had to call for a refill which took from several days to an entire week. Calling the local Lawrence office never helped as they were staffed by rude, ignorant people. Ultimately I was able to contact someone from corporate in Texas and the problem was solved, albeit temporarily. 2)The second issue was negligence in billing. I had signed a contract for x number of gallons to be delivered and had always paid my monthly bill on time. I thought all was fine and dandy until I received a $1400 bill in June for propane that was supposedly delivered after my contract amount was used up (unbeknownst to me as there was no communication on this matter).. PLEASE NOTE: I HAD NEVER RECEIVED A BILL FOR THESE DELIVERIES NOR HAD THE DRIVER LEFT A DELIVERY RECEIPT AT MY FRONT DOOR FOR ALMOST 3 MONTHS!. After numerous phone calls I was eventually able to rectify the problem but the process was very time consuming. 3) I live in the country and on some days, I could smell a faint scent emanating from the tank. Obviously I called good ole Pinnacle and they said not to worry as that was "normal" on humid days. So I stupidly took their word and didn't worry. That was a STUPID mistake on my part and I was lucky the tank didn't blow up the neighborhood! 4) Today I learned (from my new propane co) that my regulator was from 1996 and should have been replaced 3 years ago. That too proposed another prospective danger. I strongly suggest that EVERY Pinnacle customer bail on their contracts and hire another company. You will save money and possibly your life! 4 years ago Pinnacle in a transitional stage so I gave them the benefit of the doubt for their numerous mistakes. Still today they are giving the same "we are trying to fix the situation" song and dance. Today I switched to Propane Central. They were recommended by a friend and have a great reputation. PC also reported that the phone has been ringing off the hook from dissatisfied Pinnacle customers. Please read this review carefully and heed my admonitions! As the old adage goes "Better be safe than sorry".

If you are looking for a propane delivery service do yourself a favor and use a different company. I paid to keep full which didn’t happen and I almost ran out twice. Both times required me calling multiple times to beg them to fill and no one could ever tell me when it would be filled. Do not give them your money. You will regret it.

very betty by the book and unapologetic. used to be very customer oriented but i suppose lots of staff turnover makes communication poor. also hate their website. can't get a monthly bill by paper so it's a struggle to figure out when my account gets dinged. i need propane and i hear rumors that all the competitors are no better. I'll deal with it. I miss Heetco. I never had shenanigans with them. Boss always sets the tone, so i try not to be mad at their workers. I figure the ones that care (the good ones) quit, and the ones that remain dont care. There's your tone.

10 month follow up review: 10 months ago, I burned this business down by giving it a 1 rating and explaining that I’d have given it a zero but that option wasn’t available. This last Summer (after July 1, 2021), I attempted to rid my life of the pest known as Pinnacle Propane. I had switched to the fine folks at Propane Central, and PC had come to my house, pumped the propane out of the Pinnacle tank, moved it out by the road, set their own tank by the fuel line, pumped the propane I have already purchased and had delivered to me (at that time, Pinnacle still owed me propane per the signed contract), and filled the new Propane Central tank with the propane I had purchased for the 2021-2022 year. I then called Pinnacle, told em to refund my money for the undelivered propane (per contract; they did oblige) and come and get their tank off of my property. I called once a week for over 2 months, and then twice a week for a few weeks, and then every day for a couple of weeks to come and get their tank off of my property. Near the end of October, the tank disappeared. Yep. Even after I had attempted to severe my business relationship with them, they still continued to provide poor service. Use this company at your own peril. If you have gotten good service from them so far: good on you and I wish you the best. If your experience was like mine, I’m singing the anthem: Pinnacle Propane = bad.

I want to say it was somewhere between 34 and 40¢ a pound. Roughly $350?

How many days is it taking everyone to get propane after you order it. I am very low been waiting 3 days with an elderly disabled lady in the home and still can't tell me if they can get here today. Ugh

I use to work for Heetco then Pinnacle when they took over Heetco. I was delivery driver and they are not organized and on top of it like Heetco was. Monte was a good man took care of his customers and his employees. Now big coropate Pinnacle takes over and messes everything up.

Pop the bleeder on the tank or try using a magnet on the needle.
