We held my parents 80th birthday celebration at Maceli’s a few weeks ago. They did a phenomenal job! Short ribs, hulu chicken, veggies, were all delicious. Most importantly, the service was so awesome! Mary and her staff helped us set up, kept our bar stocked and were responsive to all of our requests for weeks leading up to the party. We were SO HAPPY with everything about Maceli’s.

We held our wedding here and had the greatest experience. Jesse made wedding planning SO easy, he was there for me the whole way and helped me with anything I needed with so much grace. The day-of coordinator, Laura, was also helpful and made things run smoothly. The staff set everything up and tore everything down for us. Our wedding went PERFECTLY. Their food is also phenomenal. We had our rehearsal luncheon, wedding day food, and post-wedding brunch there and everything we ate was delicious. I received lots of compliments about the food from our guests. I hope to never get married again, but if I did I would totally come here again just because of the great experience I had. If I ever need a large event space in the future, Maceli’s will be my place to go.

Steve Maceli and Jesse Rice exceeded all expectations for our wedding on 10/9/21 and every day leading up to our event. To say that Jesse was on top of things is an understatement. Any time that we made a change to our wedding plan, food, seating etc. he would communicate behind the scenes with our venue's manager so that by the next time we talked to them they were already on the same page with the updates. Which saved us so much time and confusion. With all the moving parts that are at play during wedding planning this is invaluable and was very appreciated. Steve Maceli is not only meticulous with his setup and coordinating. But he is a business owner that takes pride in, and is very active in the lawrence community (meals on wheels, big brothers big sisters, etc.). And did everything he could during the pandemic to keep as many staff members as possible. I have loads of respect for Steve and the business he's created. On the night of our wedding Steve himself was setting up and working the event. Everything went so smoothly that I hardly noticed the Macelis staff unless I needed them. And anytime they were needed they were not difficult to find. I even accidentally asked the DJ to start dinner without giving Macelis a heads up and they had the buffet ready to go in only a couple minutes. I wish that I already had my photos so that I could share them here. I would recommend Macelis for any event from a small business meeting to the largest most extravagant wedding. - Brooke and Marshall Greve

Very nice place, managed very well. I loved the décor as we entered. The facility is very clean and neat. The decor is tasteful. I loved that the Dance floor is a separate area. The atmosphere was very romantic as well as lively for the event I attended there.
