Tony at the desk is no help at all in any situation with poor deliveries. And he doesn't know how to keep his mask over his nose. We've only been in a pandemic for 18 months, so he must be a REALLY slow learner. I recently moved to the area and have been waiting on a piece of mail for over a month. I signed up for the forwarding and informed delivery where you get to see a scan of what should be arriving in your mail that day. First they returned the mail to the sender even though it had the CORRECT name, address, zip, etc. The sender took a photo and emailed it to me and everything was correct. They re-sent it and I got the scan saying it would be delivered along with 4 other pieces of mail. Well, I went to my mailbox and there were only 4 pieces of mail. The one I was waiting for was missing. The next day, still nothing. I showed the photos to Tony and he had nothing helpful to offer. I provided my phone number and told him to have my mail carrier Vince call me. The next day I received no call. I went back to the center, stood in line again, and asked Tony why Vince didn't call. He said he talked to Vince and Vince said "I just deliver what I get" but failed to ever call me. These workers clearly have no pride in their work. As I can now see from the other reviews here, this location seems to be plagued with incompetence and apathy. What a joke.

Just returned home having placed mail delivery on hold for 6 days, and selecting the deliver mail option (online). My mail was held, but today as scheduled we received today's mail only, instead of a week's worth. Called the USPS help line and got a greater than 1 hour hold. In spite of all the investment in technology by USPS, it still boils down to the staff at the Monticello branch and their inability to complete the simplest of tasks. AND, I now have to drive to the branch, mask up, and attempt to find a person there who can find my mail.

Dropped off a package beginning of January to be delivered to AT&T for a refund. The package never arrived. Thank goodness I still have the tracking number. Post office gave me a "consumer affairs" number to call, I left a message, never received a call back. Tried calling the PO three times after calling consumer affairs, and they don't answer. Very frustrating!

We had a big package delivered yesterday into our large postal top locker. When I inserted the key it did not turn. After waiting 35 minutes on hold, the USPS agent took my information and advised she would alert my local post office about the problem. Now today, I got the key for the bottom locker and guess what?!?!?! NOT TURNING EITHER!!!!!! And I’m told my phone wait is going to be 60 minutes!!!!! There is no other way to contact these people unless you jump in your car and go to the post office. I am beyond angry and frustrated!!

You just go and wait in line and tell them that you have a package to pick up. If you have a notice bring it, that'll help.
You will probably have to go to post office to get a key to your mailbox. Most sub-divisions have mailbox stations.
Walgreens and CVS take the photos. Take your renewal paperwork and photo with u and walk in. I see ppl renew without appt often. I wouldnt go before 9am or after 4pm. Lines are longer.
