Easy access paths to lake. jump off Rock Great for kids to swim

We had a great little get away here and quite enjoyed it here. The lake was below the boat ramp at this time but we were able to walk down to it and play anyway. It was quiet and well maintained spots with water and real bathrooms. We will absolutely keep this campground on our list to come back again.

This was a terrific campground with good amenities. There is reserved and first come first served options for sites too. Site can accommodate all size groups with lots of different sizes sites available. There is a day use boat ramp and a great fishing dock and multiple swimming areas on Detroit Lake. Bathrooms were very clean with flushing toilets. I had Sprint cell coverage but no data.

We tent camped two nights (during the week, so there weren't many people around). Our site & like most sites we saw looked very nice & shaded too. Larger (fishing) dock & boat ramp in the campground. Even a picnic area on the water (next to the ramp). Many small critters running around (chipmunks, mice, rabbits), so watch your food. No showers thou.

Dogs are allowed but are required to be on leash at all times. Most campgrounds have that policy.
No there is not. But it's a beautiful campground! The best on the lake!
Yes, there's patchy Verizon service throughout the campground.
Just left there. According to Forest service website, fires are only allowed on established campfire rings. This does not include a ring of rocks. Yes you have a fire in the fire rings that are at Hoover.
Restrooms yes showers no as of July 4th weekend
You'd be better off at the cove campground near clear lake.
24.00 a night for a single site 44.00 for a double site. Day use fee is 8.00 boat launch included in day use fee. 5-9-2019 posted
