If you have a Orthopedic Appointment at Nicklaus Children’s hospital prepare to wait 3 hours after your appointment to even get into the doctors room. Yep 3 hours after your appointment you will be sent back. They have signs here saying- if you are 30 minutes late for your appointment you Will be rescheduled for the next available day- they are hilarious. If you complain and ask for a supervisor then you can skip the few people in front of you. I don’t know about the hospital part, but the Orthopaedic office is ridiculous. You leave the main waiting room to a hallway to wait some more. Avoid this location for Orthopaedic at all cost. 3 hourssssss after your appointment time. Yep next time I’m complaining, the lady who did left 1 1/2 hours ago.

Had my treatment done around 2019 in the new building and it was great! lovely staff, delicious food, fun activities, nice rooms. Although the waiting time can be very long doctors’ treatment plans are worth the wait. I see lots of people complaining in the reviews about wait time, nurses, staff, all the above. keep in mind that there is a pandemic going on and most hospitals are understaffed and have been flooded with people coming into the ER. Obviously nurses and doctors are probably exhausted. Having a sour attitude isn’t going to help.

Horrible attention. I know hospitals are short staffed but come on people what is this? I arrived with my mom and sister at 9:10 p.m and the doctors saw my sister until 2:50 a.m. We finally went home until 4 a.m. It is truly unacceptable that a children’s hospital has this kind of attention. My sister had a seizure that night and that’s why we brought her. I thought the attention would be way better but 7 hours waiting… that is just not right. Besides, the waiting area was filled with children coughing and vomiting all over the place. Very unsanitary. They didn’t even try to separate the children that were coughing from the others. Isn’t COVID still a thing? The doctors are great but the attention overall isn’t great.

Best place to take your young children when they are sick. High quality staff and all of the latest technology. The ER only allows 1 parent in right now because of the pandemic.

When you talk about patience, I don't know what you mean because a child who sits down and arrives at the emergency room and sees your child cry, vomit, writhe in pain and still have to wait more than 6 hours to be seen is not understandable in no sense, don't grab excuses that in our country we don't have comforts that's why we're not in our country and we're talking about a child I think you still didn't understand
