This is my cat's primary clinic. They do a lot of things well, but there are some things that definitely need work. The staff is helpful, professional, and kind albeit a little quirky at times. This clinic is quite affordable; the fact that they accept CareCredit really helps. The care feels slightly impersonal, with staff needing to be reminded of certain things about your visit. Don't they have notes? But what really gets you is the waiting. I'm not sure if it's the small staff size, general inefficiency, or if things simply take that long, but you'll find yourself spending upwards of an hour here if your issue is more complicated than just getting your pets' booster shots. You can spend 20 minutes just by getting put on hold on the phone. Adobe is good, and I hope someday it can be great.

Took my dog bc I thought she had a urinary tract infection. They didn’t even check her just gave her flea medicine. Took her back 2 days later because she peed blood, and they told me she had pyometra. My dog needed emergency surgery the same day at another emergency vet. It cost me $8300. Im more upset that my dog was in pain because of negligence rather than the cost of the surgery. Go to another vet

Always great friendly and knowledgeable staff. We've taken our pets there for routing medical visits, and have never received any erroneous charges like other places. They have always managed to squeeze us in for pet emergencies within minutes during business hours.

The worst customer service representative named "Colleen" or "Pauleen". I received a bill that states balance brought forward on 05/31/21 for $313.00 and a service charge for $15 on 07/31/21. I called this am and spoke to this rude person. I notified her my fur babies have already decreased and I have not been there more than 4 years. The billing dept. / receptionist states it's for a canceled appt from Sept. 12, 2014. I asked her why I never received a bill prior. She said they have been behind. A company who is behind in billing over 7 years and charging interest on $40, is ridiculous. Obviously bad management and business practice. I told the receptionist this is against statue of limitations in California. She states do you want to make a payment or deal with collections. I will just wait until I go to collections to take them to court. If you have any fur babies take them to a more professional place where they get proper care and your not being charged 7 years later for a cancelation. What a way to ruin your own companies reputation.

When the doctor sees your pet, they will provide an estimate of cost for any needed treatments, including xrays. It may be that the doctor will have alternate ideas on how your pet could be diagnosed. Once you have the estimate, you can make an informed decision on what would be best.
No but East Ventura Animal Hospital has an exotics vet and another who treats chickens.
They are a little cheaper. There is that white house that's a clinic on Vineyard.
You may need an appointment...but they are just great there. Maybe give them a call.
They treated my son's guinea pig there, I don't know about mice...give them a call. Everyone there is very nice!
