Dr. Momberger has replaced both of my hips, relieving much pain & getting me back on my feet, skiing, hiking & playing tennis far quicker than I could imagine. He & his team are the best!

I visited Dr. Momberger for a pre-surgery exam. I only waited a few minutes in the lobby and was taken into the exam room where I met with his nurse and was then taken for X-rays. Both the nurse and X-ray technician were very kind and professional. Dr. Momberger came in shortly after that and spent time answering my questions and explaining the surgery to me. He is a very kind and considerate doctor who I have the upmost confidence in. I’m very grateful for his expertise and experience in the specific surgery I need. Thank you for being so great and assuring me I’m making the right choice.

Dr. Momberger took the time to thoroughly explain about a knee replacement to me, what to expect and and how to prepare myself. He seemed interested in evaluating if I am a good candidate for knee replacement and what my expectations are. I felt like he is genuinely interested in doing what would work best for me. I look forward to having him do the surgery. Also I have heard many success stories from others.

What type of knee replacement does dr. Momberger use?

Jean White | Sep 29, 2019
Shaun McDaniels | Sep 29, 2019

I am quite sure that would depend on the amount of damage done to the joint. One type is used if there is minimal damage to the femur/fibula tibia and another is used if the platella and supporting bones are severly damaged. It also would depend on your height and weight and you daily usage requirements. Dr Momberger is a very good Doctor and has done both knees over the years. Each one was a different type.... He would be the best judge of that!!!
