Such a special little airport. Friendly staff. It’s a beautiful airport and looks pretty old in a good way. I like that sometimes when you get off a plane you don’t even have to walk inside. They just let you walk outside.

Such a cute airport. Cozy, hometown feel. Baggage claim is unique and fast and bags are dropped from a window. Quick walk to gates and baggage claim. My only complaint is that I wish the rental car locations stayed open until the last flight arrived (closes at 10PM). Uber/Lyft pickup is right across from the exit. Easiest airport ever!

Beautiful. Speedy check points. Clean. Would fix the tray operation for carry on. That would make it faster and smoother. Restrooms large and clean. Small airport so quick drop off and pick up. Sometimes better prices than LAX or Burbank but sometimes much higher. Always love traveling from this airport.

Easiest best airport ever. Feels cozy safe and small. Beautiful building and usually not busy.

Yes, but their is some construction going on.
Thanks, but I'm being dropped off. Still don't have answer as to how long before my departure (with carry-on and boarding pass) do I need to be to the airport?
You'd have to contact airport personnel
Yes as Edward stated
Contact ucsb and ask. Might be an MTA bus to take or uber or taxi
Yeah I think so. I will also edge u to do more research about it 👍.
Yes car rentals at the Airport you should take whatever transportation you can to get there.
Flights will be cheaper from LAX but you have to drive to it. Have to balance drive time and cost.
Yes there is follow the signs to airport then upu can see the sign to long term.
No, domestic flights do not require vaccination or negative covid test proofs.
Mask is mandatory and everything is as usual
Masks are required at all times I don't think a covid test is required but airports in different states might have a different travel policy
Your kidding right...??? HELL No...
There is not. Those are usually only found in the larger airports like LAX and SFO. A few small airports may have them, but very few and SBA is not one of them.
I would say probably, I have seen folks ship snakes to fedex at sba. I suppose it would depend on the airline, and shipping method
There are usually a couple of taxis waiting. Small airport.
Check with the individual airlines. The airport itself is not responsible for setting airfares.
Yes all flights are operating as normal at the Santa Barbara Airport. Flights to Denver have been cancelled due to the weather in Denver. Please check with your airline for further details.
Yes the Santa Barbara Airport is operating despite the Cave fire. On this Tuesday, November 26 all flights are on time, except flights to Denver have been cancelled due to the weather in Denver. Please check with your airline.
That's a question you would have to ask the local animal authorities.
If you are asking about the TSA PreCheck Mobile van that is stationed at the Santa Barbara Airport for the next week then the answer is: June 24-28 and July 1-3, 9am-5pm. Reservations are suggested but you can walk up to the van and get registered as well. Here is further information regarding that: universalenroll.dhs.gov
Hannah, it depends on the airline and why you are asking for the refund. Each airline is different. Here is a list of airlines that service Santa Barbara Airport so you can call the one you are referring to. https://www.santabarbaraca.gov/gov/depts/flysba/airline/airlineinfo.asp Thanks for using SBA we do appreciate your business!
Yes inside the airport is a small cafe, with coffee and sandwiches.
It depends what airline. Alaska/Horizon usually board through a bridge. United is a 50/50 no matter the aircraft.
If you go 1 hour before your departure time you should have no problem.
Yes
I would go online to attempt to change the flight. Keep in mind there may be a change fee.
400am for check point 345 for airlines
Not that I am aware at this point. But suggest you inquire periodically
No later that 0500. It is a small airport, but the counters do not open in a timely manner. Once they open, they are efficient. There are also places to get breakfast while you wait.
Always give yourself ample time to get thru security.
it is according to the gates you are coming in and going out of. I've made connections as short as 37 minutes when the gates are near one another. i would be concerned that the incoming flight to LAX would be late. Have a good vacation.

Rent the car. You will be glad that you did.
I would say an hour should be fine.
Santa Barbara Airport is in operation 7 days a week, 365 days a year with currently 22 nonstop flights per day to Dallas, Denver, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, San Francisco Seattle, and Minneapolis starting August 16th. Our commercial airline carriers are: Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Frontier Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and United Airlines.
Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and off airport, Thrifty
The santa Barbara airbus stops in carpinteria. Also i think MTA can get you to carpinteria as well.
Yes they do
Airport is off the 217
As of right now, Dec 17, the airport is open and all airlines report back up and running. Sounds like airport will remain open but airlines may cancel so check with them directly to confirm.
There is an entrance near the rental car return that gets you into the private flight area.
I don't know all of them, but every time I've been there, its been American and United. They are the dominant players, and that usually includes their smaller regional lines. So for American, its American Eagle (run by Mesa) and I believe United Express for United.
Where are you traveling to, and from where? What country are you a citizen of?
