5 stars for how nice everyone is. No stars for being well run: 1. When you order a refill online, which is the only way, there is no way to check its status. You just have to hope and pray that someday you get a text saying it’s ready. 2. You can’t call them. Not even to leave a message asking for a callback. The ONLY WAY to communicate with them is to drive there and wait in line. 3. I’d say about 25% of the time, something goes wrong in their system and after waiting a week for the magic text telling me my Rx is ready (and not getting it), I have to drive there and ask for it. Then wait 30 minutes while they fill it. 4. Check their hours before you go, they are wonky. I showed up at 11:30 on a Friday because everything is open at 11:30 on Friday, right? Wrong. Not Westside. Not open until 12:30. On Friday. Also not open at all on Monday or Saturday afternoon. Labor shortage, I get it, but it’s one more annoyance. Westside - can you at least hire a competent web developer and give us a system where we can see our Rx’s, refill status, etc? It’s 2022 for godssake.

While other pharmacies were closed for days/weeks due to staffing issues, or closed permanently, Westside Pharmacy suffered through the influx of new patients and the increased needs due to the Pandemic. They went out of their way to handle a desperate rush need and the rest of us weathered through without our meds for a day or four more with mild inconvenience. Kudos to the owners and staff for your dedication and care through a difficult time for all. Westside Pharmacy is my favorite Bend Pharmacy!

I really wanted to support the little, local business over the big boxes, but after two years of dealing with their gross incompetence, I gave up. I have NEVER been able to walk into Westside and just pick up my prescription, pay, and walk out. There is always some glitch, excuse, delay, and/or return visit required. They send notices for prescriptions that aren't ready, that are lost, or were already picked up. They haven't opened up any form of communication other than to show up in person and wait to talk to someone. You can't get through on the phone -- ever. Auto-replies to emails say someone will get back within a week. If you have an urgent question, you need to show up in person and wait in line. Fortunately, I've never had to deal with this while seriously ill, I don't have mobility issues, and don't have prescriptions that are matters of life and death - but I can't imagine it if I did. I bared with them when they said they were swamped because of Covid and BiMart closing, but two years is more than enough to figure out some new systems that work and put them in place. Phone transcription services exist. Human resources exist. They don't seem to be particularly interested in improving anything. Being told my doctor "refused to refill" my prescription and then verifying with her that that was an absolute fabrication on Westside's end (she tried to call but couldn't get through --- shocker!) I made the switch to Costco. This place is a goat rodeo.

Such kind, personal, caring service. Like any other pharmacy or business these days, they are super busy, but they still manage to treat every patient as though they are the most important one. They work incredibly hard to provide the highest level of service. Highly recommend without hesitation.
