I really enjoyed the two services that I went to at this church. I was away from home and I am a Methodist in my town. I was very welcome though the church is very large with a lot of people and obviously you didn't know many people at all. But they were very welcoming and there were an awful lot of Usher's and then there were also more Pastor than I thought they might have. I was a little off put buy some of the prayers that I heard being very political in nature. I'm not uncomfortable or unused to that with my own church but I do believe there is a very definite need to separate Faith from politics. And like many churches I think that they'll end up driving off those that don't necessarily agree with them and end up just preaching to the choir so to speak. The choir and band was superb. Obviously Portland has a great base of talent to draw from and they've made the most of it. It was one of the most beautiful choir events I've been to in a long time on Christmas Eve.
