if i could give no stars i would, yalls customer service for this supposed emergency service is so rude i call to ask if theres any issues with transformers around since we just had a big storm with alot of lightning and this lady proceeds to try to call me out about the fact i have a "bad lug" on my meter box that they refuse to help with even though without this piece the meter cant even be on.....so unprofessional if i could use another power company i would the disrespect is crazy saying oh your pulling alot of power so yea im sure its, been 106 or better heat index DUUUUH ill be figuring out a way to make a formal complaint dont appreciate the mokery that this lady just made seemed like she didn't even want to be at work when we were only calling to ask due to the storm when we originally had a blip.......do better jones onslow......

No warning, no real reason, no excuse for the increase of power bill by extraordinary amount. When nothing has changed with my power usage. I monitor my reading, and nothing been drastically different past 3 years. Complete disregard to their customers.

JOEMC's customer service is abysmal. When I called to express concern over bills that had increased by over $300 over the course of two billing cycles, the representative immediately launched into a lengthy description of how winter heating affects electricity usage. She continued without pausing for several minutes with a tone of deep condescension as if she was explaining to a small child, leaving no opening for me to actually ask the questions I had called about. When you are aware that you are about to receive a great deal of customer complaints, such as when you are sending out surprise $500 bills, you're much more likely to mitigate that very justified response with an apology and an inquiry into how you may assist the customer. Treating consumers as if they are intellectuallly impaired and irritating has never garnered a company a very favorable response.

Most outrageous electic bill I have ever seen and I have lived in many different states and places being military. This company raises your prices with out notice and tells you dumb excuses to try and make up for it. Like its winter you're running your heating unit extra. Well guess what I haven't ran my unit more than half of this month at all its still the same price! Such a rip off. I would recommend going solar because its gonna cost you the same to install those as it eould for 3 months of you bill with these a holes.

Well as devastating as Florence was in 2018 close to MCAS New River and it took 6 days before we got power back possibly could have been sooner but Duke power was playing games Jones Onslow did their job 👍😎
