Great resource for veterans needing help with their VA claims. The chapter also runs a volunteer transportation program to help veterans get to their VA appointments in Fayetteville, Durham, and Wilmington.

It was not helpfully at all !!!! I am a 100% service-connected disabled, US Marine Medically Retired that was injured in 2004 in Iraq. Shortly after being retired in 2005, I went to the DAV so they could help me though some of the process the Marine Corps dropped the ball on. They tried to help after finally someone showed up, even though the hours posted they were open..... ??? I worked with them for 5 to 6 months and little happened, so I finally started asking my own questions and phone calls without them. Then a month later I basically had everything that I needed on my own......
