So my daughter is usually seen by a local pediatrician, but it’s hit or miss getting an appointment. Let alone anyone to answer the phone. So yesterday my daughter had a stupid high fever, I called every urgent care from swansboro to holly ridge. They all don’t care how sick your kid is, you have to permanently transfer care to be seen. Not with star med. by the time I called them, my daughter and I both were crying, and I was expecting them to push us away also. Nope. They got us in, fairly quickly even being in the middle of the afternoon, she took every precaution and went the extra mile with my daughter.if I could make them our primary I would!!! Her bedside manner was outstanding, considering my baby had a fever of 105, she still managed to get her to smile and laugh a few times!! I cannot say enough good things about her!

I have taken my son to Star Medical on several different occasions and received excellent care. The front office staff is very welcoming and always greeting you with a smile. The providers that I have seen are very easy to talk to and listen to your concerns.

I go to this clinic for primary care and it’s by far the most pleasant patient care experience I’ve ever received. I’ve been seen by a different doctor every visit but Everyone is empathetic and willing to educate on any of my concerns and request. The wait time is short with or without an appointment. Clean building, kind staff. I could rave forever!

We do iv for dehydration and treatment with antibiotics for infection but we do not have a infusion center
Yes there is health insurance accepted only I believe onslow county health department provides covid testing at no charge
No we do not fo to it not being fda approved. We send our covid swab to our lab and results in 48-72 hours

Without insurance the anserw is yes, you will have to pay at time of service. With insurance you will need your co-pay. Excellent staff and great service. Been my primary care for almost 3 years.

We see all ages we are a fully family doctor and do urgent care. If a patient has to be sent to the hospital it would be OMH
If there are any abnormal labs we call the patient in and go over and address them face to face with the patient.
