Got lucky and there was a cancelation for a two night stay. We booked it immediately. It is very hard to get a spot with hookups here. I hate the price of gas but it may bring more cancellations. This beach just brings the BP down as soon as you get there. One of my happy places.

Park along Seacliff Dr and save yourself $10. Long stairs to climb down to the beach, coming up is more fun! Bathrooms available. You can walk on a paved walkway or get on the beach. Lots of day use, BBQ'S, picnic tables. If you do pay to park and want to get a spot below by the beach get here at 8am when they open. We saw dolphins. Too crowded for this guy, the Oregon coast has spoiled us.

There is tent camping a mile up the road at New Brighton state park
Ca state parks web site. 6 months advance booking.
Yes. The pier is open for fishing, though it is fenced off 1/2 way out due to the pier not being stabably safe.
No tents. Self contained trailers and RVs only. Must have flushable toilet.
People live in RV parks, this is strictly for RV/trailer camping. No tent camping but plenty other state parks nearby have hike in or bike in options for tent camping
$65 a night. Half that with disabled pass.
