My two antique wool rugs came back brighter and smelling a lot better than when they arrived. Initially I thought they had shrunk but was assured that with the process of fully drying and being walked on again the fibers will accommodate back to the usual size. I have sent another rug for cleaning and some repair!

I am interested in a vintage hand woven Chinese 9x12 rug that is being sold near me.What can you tell me what to look for re it's value.It is dirty,has a cut 2 inches long,it is signed,has a label showing hand woven-wool.It is about 60 years old.

Best place is eBay to find similar rugs, but we have some old Chinese rug.
