I get overwhelmed when I find a vegan place with this many amazing options. The chick’n tenders were so good paired with a salad, and I took home some tofu “egg salad”. I’ll be back for a Buffalo chick’n wrap and all the pastries. This place is a gem!!! Very attentive service too.

There’s this new’ish Vegan spot on H street in N.E. D.C. The moment I heard about it, I made plans to go!! I went, they have REALLY tasty food, & I ate well. MY experience however…left me feeling unwelcome & slighted (see my customer service segment). . Where I am: @stickyfingersdiner . Location Reviewed: 406 H St., N.E. Washington D.C. . Menu Includes: All Day Breakfast; French Toast, Pancakes, Potatoes, Seitan & Waffles, Impossible Sausage Croissant, Tofu, Corn “Beef” Cabbage, Vegan Calamari, Buffalo Wraps, Pasta Salads, Beyond Burger, Baked Goods, Candy, Beverages, Cocktails, & Shakes. . Items Reviewed: Their Seitan $ Waffles (with 100% maple syrup & hot sauce $14). The fried chicken like Seitan…STAMP!! Crispy & well seasoned!! The waffles were DELICIOUS! Their French Onion Soup (with crostini & smoked Violife slices $8). STAMP!! Flavorful, mild & warm!! Their Oyster Mushroom Calamari (with marinara & a lemon wedge $10). STAMP!! Fried to perfection, you may not even know that these are mushrooms!! Their Roasted Potatoes (with gravy & garlic aioli-$1, $5.75). STAMP!! Undeniably tasty, especially with the gravy & aioli!! Their Chocolate Tiramisu-$8, & Their, non-alcoholic Chai Lemon Fizz-$6). STAMP both of these items!! Delectable, moist tiramisu, & that superbly refreshing fizz!! Get these!! . Customer Service: Bluntly, I wasn’t greeted, or welcomed when I walked in. I was uncomfortably stared at after I greeted the host, I had to ask about seating & how the ordering process worked. So when the patrons that sat next to me were welcomed, asked if it were their first time there, and had the ordering process explained to them w/o asking, I was disappointed. Nobody said anything wrong to me, and I was serviced promptly, but the extra care & concern that those customers received should be standard for all customers. . Online Navigation: Simple . Parking: Rough/Metered/Enforced . The food came out looking like an ad! Beautiful, but according to the family it was just as tasty as it looked! I didn’t get a pic of other food because it was gone before I knew it. The service was beyond amazing! Very sweet , and very helpful staff. I just wished they had more allergy friendly food. But overall, would absolutely bring friends and family back to eat there!!
