Lately, the delivery person is leaving my mail on the ground. I thought this was illegal. The Post Office in Santa Cruz is unresponsive.

Only 2 people working (lack of staff?) Disorganized and parking is a nightmare ($0.25 for 4 minutes?!) This USPS is BUSY, BUSY, BUSY!!! Go somewhere else

I had to help my colleague to send her mail to Thailand. We got here late, it was almost 5 pm. But Mrs. Grace and the staff had helped us to finish everything on time with kindness. We are new to this area, but we very much appreciated their help. Thank you, guys!

I have lived on the road for the last 15 years. I have been to hundreds, maybe even over a thousand, post offices. This is by far the worst. The people working there are friendly enough but the are entirely incapable of handling mail. Honestly I'd rather deal with a bunch rude people who don't lose packages and can sort their mail in a timely manner. Do yourself a favor and go to the Capitola post office, or better yet the Aptos post office.

Yes they do, I’ve ordered general delivery multiple times at this location. Same with Aptos
Yes, you can get a passport at this location. You need to make an appointment online first, and you also can do part of the application process online when you make the appointment. Also, for an additional fee (I think $15) they'll also take your photograph; I did that both to save hassle and also to make sure my photo was the correct size because I'd read that having the wrong size photo was the most common reason that passport applications were rejected. The person at the Front Street Post Office who helped me with my passport application was very nice and very helpful.
I just purchased a new protective envelope size A4, it is only $2.68. Tge smaller one cost $2.16. I like the price 😄
No you don't need appointment, you can wait in line and you will be seen
No, they do not.
Post boxes are accessible until at least 6:00 p.m. Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday. Perhaps until 6:30 Monday-Friday, but until 6:00 p.m. for sure.
Easy access, lots of services and actual living counter people that are nice, know their job and there's at least one that counts your change back to you. Love that! Not an employee but I suggest phoning on or checking online concerning P.O. boxes.
Yes.
Yes all post offices are remaining open as mail delivery is continuing as scheduled
I believe yes you can. As long as you have a current state issued picture identification and all of your forms filled out.

You need to go to the post office get the paperwork and go from there.
