You get a transfer on death designation afftidavit made by an attorney or maybe a title company then take to recorder's office to record it

Go to the 18th floor in the 373 south high street building also if you dont need it certified you can get it on line at the recorders web site.

How do I record a quitclaim deed? Do all back taxes have to be paid before transferring the deed? Does all liens on the title convey with the title?

The grantee doesn't have to sign, only the grantor. They will make you fill out an "exempt conveyance form" since she is your daughter, you won't have to pay the conveyance fee. It will cost fifty cents for the transfer. There's also a $28 fee to file it in the recorders office.

A copy of any document that is less than ten pages is free (10 cents per page after that). A certified copy of a document is $2 per page and $1 for certification.
